Bilingual prediction lets you activate w ord prediction for a second lan guage. ? Trace color lets you sel ect the color to use w hen using the Trace keyboar d. ? A dvanced setti ngs: Prediction preference. Spell correction: Correct typographical errors by selecting from a list of po ssible words that reflect the characters of the keys you hav e touched as well as characters of nearby keys. ? Word completion: Select from a list of possible com binat ions based on t he characters that appear on the keys that you touched. ? A dvanced setti ngs: Finger touch calibration. Calibration tool: Lets you recalibrate the keyboard i f you feel that the key s are not responding accurately to your touch es. ? Reset calibration: Reset the calibration back to factory default. ? Personal dictionary lets you add, edit, or remove words in the predic tive text dictionary. Predictive text input is enabled by d efault, and word suggestions are di splayed as you type. To enter a w ord in predictive mode, do any o f the following. If you see the word y ou w ant highlight ed, you ca n simply touch the space bar to insert the word into your text. ? If you see the word y ou w ant shown in the suggestions before you hav e finished typing the entire word, touch the w ord to insert it into your text. ? Call Using a S peed Dial Number Speed dial numbers let you di al numbers by touchi ng and holding a single numbe r on the Phone keypad. The display confirms that you have dialed the number w hen it shows “Dialing” on the upper right side of the screen. Call a Number in a Text Message or Email Messag e W hil e view ing a text message or email message, you can place a call to a number that is in the body of the message. 1. While viewi ng a text or em ail mes sag e, t ouch the phone number in the message. 2. Touch Call. Your phone then dials the phone number. W he n you place an emergency 911 call, the GPS feature of your phone seek s inf or mat ion to calculate your approximate location. Depending on sev eral variables, including availability and access to satellite signals, it may take up to 30 seconds or more to determine and report your approximate location. Important: A lw ays report y our location to the 911 operat or when placing an emergency call. Some designated e mergency call takers, known as Publ ic Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), may not be equipped to receive GPS location information from your phone. Receive Pho ne Call s W he n you receive a pho ne call from a contac t, the Incoming call screen appears and display s the caller ID icon, name, and phone number of th e calling party. W hen y ou receive a phone call from someone who i s not stored in People, only the de fault caller ID icon and phone nu mber appear on the Incoming call screen.
