Thus one needs to go to the index often to find the location desired. The Green Guides give historical context as well as current cultural trends. It is a bit less thorough on hotels, etc.I have no other other guide devoted to scholarship, in depth background, or reliable rating systems as the Michelin Green Guides. It was most helpful and a delightful reference volume once we returned home. The absolute source for everything you need to know about an area. The cultural background is especially valuable. It gives the information I like to get and even lines out scenic routes to take and lists the things to see along that route. Other guides are often too wordy and confusing. The Michelin Green Guide is the best in my opinion. Our taste is similar. The only negative comparison to similar book of Germany (the same size country) - lack of basic down town map of cities. You have to have additional map or gadget. However, they excelled in honest reviews but often the narratives and history are longer then I prefer for a guide book.http://mestan.by/images/canon-imageclass-d620-user-manual.xml

Not only does it reflect the sustained improvement in the quality of restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau, it also highlights the increasing richness and diversity of the delicacies to be found in each city. It includes 59 new restaurants (57 in Hong Kong and 2 in Macau) and 10 new hotels (7 in Hong Kong and 3 in Macau). Not only have they found many new stars but they have also discovered a wide variety of restaurants offering many different styles of cooking.A total of 59 simple shop restaurants (52 in Hong Kong and 7 in Macau) are included (c.f. 55 restaurants in 2011). These basic, local food stalls make up around 20 of the guide and include noodle shops, noodles and congee eateries, and Vietnamese food stalls. Some of them have even been awarded stars, making them the most affordable starred restaurants in the world. To ensure consistency, our inspectors, who undertake all restaurant reviews anonymously, adhere to the standard five criteria for awarding stars in all areas and countries: product quality, preparation and flavours, the cuisine’s personality, value for money, and consistency over time and across the entire menu. In this year’s guide, more than 70 of the restaurants selected offer Chinese cuisine, including Shanghainese, Pekingese, Sichuan, Hakkanese, Hang Zhou, Cantonese, and Chiu Chow. A restaurant that receives one or more stars is not only one of the best in its country, but also one of the best in the world. Please migrate your credentials as referred here. Michelin also publishes a series of general guides to countries. At the time there were fewer than 3,000 cars in France, and the Michelin guide was intended to boost the demand for cars, and thus for car tires. For the first edition of the Michelin Guide the brothers had nearly 35,000 copies printed. It was given away free of charge, and contained useful information for motorists, including maps, instructions for repairing and changing tires, and lists of car mechanics, hotels and petrol stations. After the war, revised editions of the guide continued to be given away until 1920. The company's website recounts the story that Andre Michelin, visiting a tire merchant, noticed copies of the guide being used to prop up a workbench.Initially, there was only a single star awarded. Bib ( Bibendum ) is the company's nickname for the Michelin Man, its corporate logo for over a century. There is a Green Guide for France as a whole, and a more detailed one for each of ten regions within France. Other Green Guides cover many countries, regions, and cities outside France. Many Green Guides are published in several languages. They include background information and an alphabetical section describing points of interest. He maintained that the guide had become lax in its standards. Though Michelin states that its inspectors visited all 4,000 reviewed restaurants in France every 18 months, and all starred restaurants several times a year, Remy said only about one visit every 3? years was possible because there were only 11 inspectors in France when he was hired, rather than the 50 or more hinted by Michelin.
