Always fasten your safety belt, and check that your passengers' belts are fastened properly too. Your vehicle has indicators to remind you and your passengers to buckle your safety belts. See Safety Belt Reminder Light on page 3-24 and Passenger Safety Belt Reminder Light on page 3-25. In most states and in all Canadian provinces, the law says to wear safety belts. When you ride in or on anything, you go as fast as it goes. Put someone on it. Take the simplest vehicle. Suppose it is just a seat on wheels. Then stop the vehicle. The rider does not stop. The person keeps going until stopped by something. In a real vehicle, it could be the windshield. You get more time to stop. You stop over more distance, and your strongest bones take the forces. That is why safety belts make such good sense. Being a good driver does not protect you from things beyond your control, such as bad drivers. Most accidents occur within you are belted. Q: If my vehicle has airbags, why should I have toA: Airbags are in many vehicles today and will be. This part is only for people of adult size. Be aware that there are special things to Belt. The driver has a lap-shoulder belt. Here is how to wear it properly. 1. Close and lock the door. 2. Adjust the seat so you can sit up straight. The shoulder belt should go over the shoulder and across the chest. These parts of the body are best able to take belt restraining forces.http://www.mahalaxmiornament.com.np/userfiles/bt-zenith-flip-manual.xml In a crash, you would move forward too much, which could increase injury. In a crash, your body would move too far forward, which would increase the chance of head and neck injury. A: The belt is twisted across the body. To unlatch the belt, just push the button on the door on it, you can damage both the belt and your vehicle. If you ever pull the shoulder portion of the belt out all the way, you will engage the child restraint locking feature. If this happens, just let the belt go back all the way and start again. Rear Seat Passengers. When the shoulder belt is pulled out all the way, it will lock. If it does, let it go back all the way and start again. If the and pull the belt across you. Do not let it get twisted. The shoulder belt may lock if you pull the belt across you very quickly. The lap part of the belt should be worn low and snug on the hips, just touching the thighs. Then, place the guide over the belt, and insert the two edges of the belt into the slots of the guide. Pull the guide upward to expose its storage clip, and then slide the guide onto the clip. Turn the guide and clip inward and slide them in between the seatback and the interior body, shoulder and across the chest. If the child is sitting in the center rear seat is on the child's shoulder, so that in a crash the child's upper body would have the restraint the belts provide. Never do this. Here a child is sitting in a seat that has a lap-shoulder belt, but the shoulder part is behind the child. If the child wears the belt in this way, in a crash the child might slide under the belt. Everyone in a vehicle needs protection. This includes infants and all other children. Neither the distance traveled nor the age and size of the traveler changes the need, for everyone, to use safety restraints. Airbags plus lap-shoulder belts offer protection for adults and older children, but not for young children and infants. Neither the vehicle's safety belt system nor its airbag system is designed for them. This is necessary because a newborn infant's neck is weak and its head weighs so much compared with the rest of its body. In a crash, the belt would apply force on a body area that is unprotected by any bony structure. This alone could cause serious or Young children always should be secured in appropriate child restraints. A forward-facing child seat (C-E) provides restraint for the child's body with the harness and also sometimes with surfaces such as T-shaped or shelf-like shields. Lower Anchor and Top Tether Anchor Locations. Refer to the instructions that came with the child restraint and see Lower Anchors and Tethers for. See Manual Seats on page 1-2. Securing a Child Restraint in the Right Front Seat Position. Your vehicle has a right front passenger's airbag. You should not be able to pull more of the belt from the retractor once the lock has been set. And, for some unrestrained occupants, frontal airbags may provide less protection in frontal crashes than more forceful airbags have provided in the past. Always wear your safety belt even with frontal airbags. The driver should sit as far back as possible while still maintaining control of the vehicle. Occupants should not lean on or sleep against the door. Where Are the Airbags? The system checks the airbag electrical system for malfunctions. The light tells you if there is an electrical problem. See Airbag Readiness Light on page 3-25 for more information. The driver's airbag is in the middle of the steering wheel. I have no experience with Okuma or their controls. I have a lot of experience with various Fanuc controls. Just wondering how user friendly these Okuma controls are, compared to Fanuc. And, is there a place to get some manuals for these controls. I have tried to Google something up with no success. And there are no manuals with this machine. Thanks for any input!Okuma controls are user friendly, the differences between the Ok and Fanuc are minor, maybe a few characters are different or the canned cycles might be a little different, but nothing really that will throw you for a loop to the best of my recollection.Fanuc and user friendly probably shouldn't be used in the same sentence, so I don't see you having any trouble with the Okuma control. QBI used to run an Okuma LB-10 with that setup, and loved everything about it except for that drive. The tool setter and IGf made it a perfect job shop machine. Chuck and tailstock barrier settings made it virtually impossible to crash it.But, it does have an R3232 port. It does not have a toolsetter, but does have the barrier settings, so that will be handy. It also has a 6500 rpm spindle, which i am drooling over. I was originally asking about the availability of manuals for this old control, and within about 3 hours, a member here on the forum had already e-mailed me a digital copy. You cant beat that anywhere. I have looked through the programming books, looks pretty cut and dry, But I am sure I will have questions about this in the future. Is there a way to switch the control in english from german, or do you know a good samaritean to help me with some manuals in english, please.
