icg furnace manualsThe pilot stays on-no issue. Once the temp drops in the house the 2 burners light. Then, the fan won't run in the auto setting. MY central air ran fine all summer. The furnace is 20 years old.If so, one will say HEAT.So I'd check to see if only the high speed is operating and something is defective in the low speed circuit to power the motor or in the low speed winding of the motor. Read that circuit diagram. Check to see where the 120 VAC is being switched on to the motor!DoItYourself StaffConnor DoeJennifer AubeJennifer AubeI need help. I have a pellet stove in my basement and it work.I am a novice on heating stuff. My house has centralized forced heat. I fou.The unit will not run. I have 24v at call for heat, the led is lit on the ignition control, but there is not 120v at the control or the purge blower. My first thought was that the control was bad. The sequence of operation states that the heat demand must pass thru a fan relay, a heat relay, two gas limits and the pressure switch to enable the ignition control. Question 1: Does the lit led on the ignition control tell me that the switches and limits have been made or do I have to go back and check them? The troubleshooting section states that if the led is lit and the purge doesnt work, to do gas and air checks first. If all checks out and the ignition control is not getting 120v, then its probably the control. Question 2: What components are checking for proper gas and air flow before allowing 120v to pass thru to the igniton control? Thanks This furnace is 15 years old; in the past had some connector issues which I fixed. Now to my current problem. Furnace sometimes starts, mostly doesn't. Then I either get 4 blinks or steady light. The limit switch contacts short to each other so I think it's OK, but I ordered another one just in case. Question: looks like the aux switch is assembled on the limit switch - is this normal?http://www.giga.sk/storage/hopkins-agility-47294-manual.xml

Moving on: I removed one of the LS wires - the manual says if an open is present both the blower and DI should start; the blower does; the DI sometimes attempts to start and stops immediately (no time to build pressure in the PS). After that I get 0 voltage reading at the DI motor board contacts. Board number is B18099-06. My conclusion si that I have a bad board but I would really like an expert opinion. A firetube boiler is a cylindrical vessel, with horizontal tubes passing through and connected to the front and rear tube sheets. The vessel contains the water and absorbs the energy generated from the flame. The front door and rear door provide the seal to contain the hot combustion gases. Baffles designed into the doors serve to redirect the combustion gases through the fire- tubes. The flame originates in the furnace. As the combustion gases travel down the furnace and through the fire- tubes, heat from the flame and combustion gases is transferred to the water.https://events.citeve.pt/chat-conversation/earlex-3000-manual The swirling action caused by the rifled firetubes provides a much more efficient heat transfer capability. Transferred energy develops into the required steam or hot water. The primary purpose of the boiler is to supply energy to the facility's operations - for heat, manufacturing process, laundry, kitchen, etc. According to the company's website: Louis), MO and Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada. A gas furnace's standing pilot, in which the flame is lit at all times, is sometimes referred to as a pilot light. When the thermostat signals for gas to be delivered from the gas valve to the burner, the standing pilot ignites the gas flowing to the burners to heat the air in the combustion chamber. When this little flame fails to operate properly or goes out, it's one of the most common reasons that a gas furnace fails to operate.Understanding the furnace pilot is a crucial part of troubleshooting your gas furnace. If the thermocouple thinks it's safe, then it allows the main gas valve in the pilot assembly to open up and stay open. If the thermocouple or flame sensor does not sense enough heat from the pilot flame—such as when the pilot is extinguished—then the thermocouple shuts off the gas valve delivering gas to the burners. The thermocouple sensor is found at the business end of the pilot flame and is designed to be placed in the hottest part of the flame. The other end is connected to the pilot valve body. When it gets hot enough from the heat of the pilot flame, it sends a signal to open the gas valve by using a solenoid operated by a 24-volt transformer. The thermocouple calls the shots, and by converting heat to an electrical signal, it allows the gas valve to open.If the pilot goes out, then the thermocouple gets cold and doesn't produce an electric signal to open the gas valve's solenoid, so the gas valve shuts off the gas supply to the pilot and burners. The process is quite easy, but the steps involved can vary slightly depending on your furnace model and pilot valve type. If possible, find the instructions adhered inside the furnace door cover or in the furnace's instruction manual. But whichever type you've got, if you have an older model furnace with a standing pilot (flame is lit all the time), then this is the basic procedure: Go to the furnace, and find the pilot valve, a box-shaped device into which the main gas line will run.Get your match or lighter ready. Sometimes the pilot is hard to reach. If possible, try and use a long fireplace match when you light it. If you don't have a fireplace match, then a butane barbecue grill lighter works well, too. If you don't have that, fasten a match to the end of a stick as you light the pilot.Depress the button or knob for about 30 seconds. This maintains gas flow to the pilot until the thermocouple gets hot enough to open the main gas valve.Wait a few minutes, then repeat the above procedure. This time, hold the red reset button or depress the knob for about 45 to 60 seconds. Once the main furnace burners ignite, adjust the thermostat to the desired setting. You may also find that the pilot ignites, but that it is an anemic-looking flame. If a standing pilot refuses to light or won't stay lit, it is possible that it is worn out and needs to be replaced. If your furnace runs on natural gas, the flame should be a bright blue with the tip of the flame having just a tinge of yellow. If your furnace runs on propane, the flame should have a bluish green flame with a tinge of yellow at the tip.You may have to refer to the manufacturer's instructions to find the screw. Turn the screw as needed to adjust the flame throw. It can be caused by a dirty pilot tube tip, which can be corrected by cleaning it. Take a needle or small nail and gently clean the tube. Look for sources of draftiness in the room, and make sure the cover on the combustion chamber is properly fitted. Keeprite’s Warranty Coverage Keeprite Furnace Model Numbers Any servicing you attempt is at your own risk. Before any furnace leaves the Keeprite factory, it is given a test run to ensure performance and live up to your expectations. They aim to provide a hassle-free experience for their consumers. Ensuring that it is clean, running properly, and has good filters can keep the more expensive repairs at bay. Keeping your furnace in good working order means that it’ll be running at peak efficiency and maintaining a comfortable home for you. The filter is typically near the cold air return or the blower chamber. Locate it and ensure that you have easy access to it. Be mindful of how you pull out the filter, especially if there is an endcap. Slide in the new one (or cleaned old one). Take care to insert the filter correctly, that the arrows are pointing in the right direction to go with the blower and away from cold air. Put back the panel to your furnace, either sliding or screwing it back in place. A clean filter also improves the air quality in your home, which is especially important for people with allergies or breathing issues — double check registers and vents to make sure that the airways are 100 accessible. What's wrong? How you can fix it: If it has blown, you will need to replace it. Check the part for cracks, if it is then replace the igniter. If it isn’t cracked, use a multimeter to test for continuity. Thermostat Your thermostat might be adjusting incorrectly, causing the furnace to cycle on and off too often. If your thermostat has an adjustable calibration scale, adjust the heat anticipator. If this does not stabilize the unit, you may have to replace the thermostat. Blower Motor Your blower motor may have completely burnt out. If this doesn’t seem to be the case, then the connecting belt may have simply broken. Test to see if power is reaching the motor. If it does, but isn’t running, the motor has likely failed. If the motor runs but air doesn’t move, the connecting belt has probably broken. You’ll have to replace the belt. Control Board The control board regulates the amount of voltage that reaches each functioning part. If the relay that controls the blower motor has failed, it will continually send voltage to the motor. Replace the control board. Use a multimeter to check for continuity. If it appears the thermostat is the issue, replace it. Flame Sensor Your furnace’s flame sensor monitors the burner, detecting whether a flame is present. If it is either defective or dirty, it will not be able to detect a flame. If dirty, clean the sensor using a fine abrasive pad. If faulty, replace the flame sensor. Turn off the unit’s power and check connections. Locate and correct gas interruption. Reset by lowering it for 20 seconds and then raise it back, furnace will reset itself after one hour. Replace the induced draft blower pressure switch, or repair the short. Pressure switch may need to be replaced. High limit cut-off due to faulty wiring or bad filters. Replace or clean the air filter; clean drain tubes of moisture or debris; may have an open limit switch that requires a jump, ensure not to run it with the main switch bypassed. Might be the result of a slowly closing valve. Turn off the gas until the valve is fixed. Flame sensor might be dirty or placed too far from flame. Clean if dirty, replace if defective. Review wiring diagram to correct polarity. However, some issues are best dealt with by a trained professional. If you experience any of the symptoms below with your furnace, your best bet is to call a licensed technician. These are more severe problems that require training to address and can be dangerous if you try to attempt to repair yourself.
