Hesston has been known as the hay and forage innovator since 1955, when the company developed the first commercially available self-propelled windrower. Other industry firsts have included the first hydrostatic windrower, the first center-pivot mower-conditioner and the first big square baler—which had nearly 50 individual patents of its own. Today, Hesston products continue to lead the way in advanced hay and forage technology. We are proud to offer a full line of hay and forage equipment including windrowers and heads, baling systems, mowing systems, rakes and tedders and forage equipment. I would like to find another 1475 or even a 7150 but the prices are a little high yet for me. I found a Hesston 1275 locally and the price is right. I haven't been around Hesston units at all but I know they don't use a wobble drive like NH. Has anyone had much experience with them and know what to look for. I only need it to go over 3-500 acres a year so I dont want to spend a bunch of dollars on it but at the same time I don't want to buy a problem machine either. Thanks! Not the same machine as you are looking at, but I'm thinking a model older - but same width. I have a small Hesston sickle mower conditioner and it is very well built, simple to service and repair. The owners manual is excellent too. The rollers on mine are rubber on steel and are crimping rollers vs crushing. They do an outstanding job of conditioning hay.Drop dead simple and effective.Haven't heard any complaints. Along with a 1475 hs we also run an older hesston and it serves us well. My experience is with the older. I still run a 1982 6650 with 16 ft header. Dependable, easy to work on and good parts support. Never ran one but that is what everyone ever told me. Heston, one model Case IH and John Deere 1600 are the same machines. All I have ever heard from any one is run away. The double auger wraps with wet long hay and will make you cry. Everybody here that had one went to a new holland. Now everybody is switching to jd rotary conditioner. Up here a super nice 1475 is under 10,000 a fixer upper can be had for 4 or 5.It is a dual auger which I'm not real comfortable with but I figure they made them so long that they must work alright if adjusted correctly.I never heard of any complaints about them. I've heard in slough hay the twin augers will wrap, although it seemed more common on the JD 1600 for some reason. Got a neighbour that has one field of that wirery grass and he has no problems with wrappingI think they work in dry non tangled crop. Anything tall and wet they are a nightmare from what all my buddies have said. Caseih went to new holland in 2001 so it was just the early ones. But they don’t work in dry short grass. Seeded tame hay they are fantastic. Here we have to have a dual lineup. Hay conditioner. Couple double mowers and a single mower for places. Then a couple types of rakes. Cut very good in dry conditions, but in damp conditions, hay wraps on the top roller. Helps to keep the stripper bar set close. We bought one in 08, cut less than 100 acres and broke out 2 rear windows on a 1086. Traded it off on a brand new 1475. I can lay plenty of hay down with a sickle machine. I've got some dryland hay ground too and those discbines are fire starters if its dry.We still run a 4000 IH with 14' auger header. It's the same as a New Idea 514? I think. One small overshot auger. Nothing ever wraps on it and when it's all good it'll cut along side a discbine. And the nice thing with the overshot auger us you never plug up, unless the molehills stick behind the cutterbar. Even at that it still feeds the hay through. And in 6' tall slough hay it just cruises along. Only needed to cut the crimper rollers off twice, both times from operator errorJust out of curiosityWe bought one in 08, cut less than 100 acres and broke out 2 rear windows on a 1086. Traded it off on a brand new 1475. I can lay plenty of hay down with a sickle machine. I've got some dryland hay ground too and those discbines are fire starters if its dry.He has broken his JD back window out 2 times and has a crude screen up behind it now. I will stick with with our 7000 dollar 1475. I think those Heston’s work in alfalfa and stuff like that but tall wet hay is their nemesis. Our 1475 cutting oats for hay this summer. We had rocks in the field and run a few of them in.I have never looked back. I can run faster, through thicker hay, in the wet damp stuff on a cloudy day or at night doesn’t matter. I’ve cut in light rain before. When you don’t get home from work until 4:30 that doesn’t leave much time to lay the whole farm down! Lol. My fields aren’t bad about loose rocks as much as big boulders sticking out of the ground. We have a name for them around here but I’ll let you guess. ?. I guess in your conditions use what works for you. The only thing I’ve ever had come close to the cab was a golf ball. A discbine will straight up zing one of them if it gets under the tarp. I do keep my tarps in good condition though. Actually its a windrower with a disc header. Demoed one the year before. I can get ours to cut short grass if I can get cutter bar right on the ground titled forward. When we demoed one, first stuff I cut was crested wheatgrass in a hay field the bulls had been grazing on for a month so it was short and half gone. It made a baleable windrow and that right there pretty much sold me on it since thin hay is standard in our part of the world. The main reason we switched from sickle to a disc was maintenance. With the sickle header I had to carry 3 different sections, 2 different guards, about 2 or 3 different section bolts of varying lengths plus all of the nuts for those, guard bolts, plus a hammer, punch, two wrenches, or an impact drill with 2 different sockets. With the discbine, all I carry is my impact drill, a few bolts, a box of left knives, and a box of right knives. You can change out every knife on a 16ft disc header faster then that and I have. Only downside I have seen is if you have to run the header off of the ground in rocky fields it does leave a ragged cut. But we don't have too much of that. However, as bad as I would like a SP I cant justify the cost for something that can only do 1 job when I can buy a tractor and hydroswing for the same price and turn around and do 100 other things with the tractor. Not enough for me to justify many dollars toward a new swather. No mailbox casualties but i can't say some didn't come close. We have not had a sickle machine since prob.87. Vicon 281 then late added a 321. One of the toughest machines ever built imo. Rocky ground yep. Wore hood on late cuttings to protect ypu a bit. But if skirts are right and angle good they were fine. Even all the hobby guys have disc. So now 2 15' center pivots. Soooo much faster than the 12'. Yes a few get by that and about 1x every 3 years it gets a back window. Then tip deck fwd about 70 on little gauge. Makes for fast grow back and lo ash silage. And keeps rocks on field not in sky. Makes cutting later light stuff waaaayyy better. Also throttle back from 1100 pto rpm to 900 and it slows tips so they don't blow grass down. Shorter skirts don't knock soft dry stuff fwd and let wind out basically. All custom guys have did the trim trick. But every NH guy didn't speak highly of them when we shopped. Stuck with MF since same parts for shelf. We had some flattened rye cover last year and just could not get though it unfortunately. Plugs an clutch slipping. Brother tried.I think I could of got it. Anyway we had custom guy cone with R430 whatever JD. Flat impressive.12 mph and no note of struggle. Brother rode along and said it was good ride and power. I think we easy could go to a SP and sell a pull one and cut few hrs of time to cut. The turn around on ends is so quick. Cut speed of 10 to 16 mph is same but they just zip so quick on ends. It's an okay machine, but HEAVY. The main complaint he's had with it is the conditioner doesn't condition. The hay has just never dried well coming out of that machine. It also didn't like laying heavy hay in a swath; it tended to wad up in the narrow space between the conditioner rolls and the swath deflector when it's in the down position. You need dynamite to get it unplugged. The solution is to windrow and then go through and blow it out with the tedder. In other words, if it comes with a honkin' huge wrench, you can count on it having some serious design flaws. Well, the 8350 didn't come with a honkin' huge wrench, but the series that came after it, which was almost identical, did. The wrench was for turning the conditioner rolls backwards when the machine plugged while swathing heavy hay! It's an okay machine, but HEAVY. I don't know anyone that uses a side pull mower conditioner here. Still quite a few 9' sickle mowers and rouse double 9s though out in cattle country. It's an okay machine, but HEAVY. She saw the blue shoulder boards of First Officer Daniel McVary, then saw his face peeking in at the opening. He walked to the door and examined the knot around the latch. He took the disembodied arm and tried to force it out, but the hand grabbed his shirt. There was something grotesque about this arm reaching out to him.My dad said that if I placed in the top three it would help my chances toward qualifying for the Southern Cal Championship race, only a month and a half away. He was tall like a basketball player and his feet were gigantic. She was tall and lean and had high cheekbones: fit. Standing next to her, Mickey had a thought he often had about good-looking young women: he was amazed that more of them did not sell their bodies for sex. He took his time, thorough in his setup, never once allowing his mind to freeze under the pressure, not even when soldiers nearly stepped on him. It was a long time to be in the enemy camp, and he felt the strain. Sweat dripped into his eyes and stung. His chest and especially his back were on fire, and his leg throbbed with pain. Since launching this phone unlocking service, over 15 customers have already received Motorola unlock codes. They seemed willing to permit travel west on the Arkansas and on the Platte, but all north of the Platte to the Upper Missouri and all south of the Platte to the Arkansas they wanted to be left alone. They also wanted to come and go across the Platte as they pleased. And Mitchell told the chiefs plainly that they must control and restrain their young men or there would be war. In order to bring about a permanent understanding, Mitchell told the chiefs to talk with their people fully, and meet him again. He was a good deal of a king, and he certainly talked like a king, and the Indians understood him. There was a note of awe and respect in his voice in spite of his anger at Sergeant Major for planting someone on his team with unknown skills. So there was a pause now, during which Mill could hear the man weighing the choice. A heavy-set African man in his thirties, his eyes rimmed with red, opened the door wearing, of all things, a grey cardigan. The man leaned closer to look at it, squinting slightly, and Mill raised the estimate of his age upwards: forty, say. For the first time he felt his full energies gather around this inquiry. House divided into flats, he noticed. 2017 suzuki bandit 1200 owners manual He and I came to an understanding of sorts. The guy was solid as a rock and as good as his word. Her own thoughts startled her, but before she could reflect on her realization, Cameron spoke again. She settled in next to Gina and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. She closed her eyes and sighed at the simple luxury. I thought there was something more to the relationship, but discovered too late that he was more interested in getting me in bed. And once that happened, he decided that things were getting too serious, too fast for him, and he bailed. It then pushed seats H, J, and K, with three more passengers, through the fuselage and, along with other collected debris, out into the void. Seats and people were turned into unrecognizable forms and their high-speed disintegration in turn reduced people and objects near them to smashed and torn remnants of what they had been. With no warhead on the missile there was, of course, no explosion-but the impact forces had the same effect on everything in its path.I took the liberty of telling him that Mr. Just to see that the room had been put to rights. Meredith was such a tidy gentleman that I knew nothing would need doing. Meredith liked to deal with that himself. He pressed his forehead against hers. What makes you think it will be different this time. His teeth tugged on her lower lip and he brushed kisses there too. There was a long table with about ten on each side. They were the drivers of the stage line, about as rough and jolly a lot of men as I ever saw. They were talking about the Indian scare, and the probabilities of an Indian outbreak, and how General P. Edward Connor was coming through from Salt Lake to take charge. 2018 town and country touring owners manual He remembers Spassky talking in a quiet and conversational tone, and not for long. Pavlov, he says, was trying to help the world champion deal with the situation, advising him to consider declaring the match void, but finally agreeing that he should stay. Ivonin left for Reykjavik four days later. Fischer had already plunged the proceedings into a new controversy, locking himself away from officials and sending his second, Lombardy, to act for him at the drawing of lots to determine who would open with the advantage of the white pieces. Table stakes notwithstanding, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Standing next to his table was a small, bow-legged, bespectacled man dressed in a black coat and breeches and wearing a faded three-cornered hat. Finally, Micah nodded, turned and looked towards the domino table. Pushing his chair back, he stood up and swept the pile of coins into his palm and then into his pocket. Had the sentry in the cabin cruiser raised the alarm. Or was this simply the plan, the reason for the semi truck. Set the trip on the starboard door. She cowered on the far side of the steel hatch as he leaned over the rail to watch the work progressing below.
