This is the first amp i have had that can be turned up very loud (all the way up in fact?)with no distortion at all, you ears dont get tired from listening here, its a beast this one. Maybe i have being lucky with the sound because of my speakers but its sounds really powerfull, a experience of the few for ordinary people;) I have the speakers hooked up in bi amp mode, meaning one amp pr. It has good power, and a very clean sound. It runs very hot, but it is the way this amps works, so it is OK, you have to place it so it can breathe. I now only use the pre-front, of the Onkyo, and an Emotiva power amp. This is do with the low ohm line of my heavy to run speakers, Infinity Kappa 8.2i. had to do this, so the punch in the low end, became more powerful. I had Kef Q line towers before the Infinity speakers, and the Onkyo had no problems at all, to run this speakers with power and nice clean sound. In stereo, you must use audio direct, to get the hi quality sound out of this amp, and that is a good thing. It is a quality build from Onkyo this one. And it gives you bi-amp, and bridge amp (8 ohm), if you like. Or you can run up to 7.1 channels in HD. It is a heavy piece of gear, with its 23,5 kilograms, and that gives an indicator of the quality.http://equinox-e.com/upload/UserFiles/file/flexiview-8800-service-manual.xml

200wpc 6ohm, and 140 wpc 8 ohm all channels driven. 150 wpc 8 ohm 5 channels driven. And if i am not mistaken it uses 1150 watts of power, using 3 transformers. I am still, pleased with this one, and i have no plans of any upgrade yet. I only have one thing i dont like with it, and that is the Riaa phono line in, that had a little bit of hum at hi volume. But i now use an Ifi Riaa, in the AUX line, and the sound is pleasing. If you can get one of this Onkyos, do it.To purchase TX-SR875 spares or accessories, please contact the company via their website or visit an authorised retailer.
