So if you ever want a job as a lifeguard or just want to know something cool get this book, its awesome.:) The chapter on First Aid is probably one of my favorite parts. It was pretty exact with how it told you how to do everything. Like how to tell if someone's having shock or severe hypothermia or even sunstroke and how to treat them. It showed how to treat cuts, burns, breaks, sprans and shock. I hope I will never have to do any of that, but I'll be ready just in case. Even though I'm a hands on learner, this book still helped alot. It walks you through everthing. Its not just this is this, do this do that, it tells you in great detail how to do it, Being able to pracitce hands on after reading the book really helped as well. I had to go online to find any sort of test preparation and review. I was also a little frustrated at the paired down First Aid section - this has really seen a decrease in the last 5 years.
