Booster Car Seats This car seat offers a premium in convertible seating. Beyond the original Recaro Side Impact Protection, this seat also features an infinite adjustable headrest without rethreading. It also offers an innovative LATCH bar design for ease in changing from rear-facing to forward-facing, a 5-point harness, top tether, and microfiber cover. This convertible car seat can be used rear-facing from 5-35 lbs and forward-facing from 20-70 lbs.I got the car seat three days ago and we have been on a few car rides since then and I am so happy with this car seat. My daughter is so comfortable in it and she easily falls asleep in it when she is tired, her head does not fall forward at all, and the seat is much softer and more cushioned then her infant seat was. It was pretty simple to install rear facing after putting a rolled up towel under the seat like the manual says. I love that this car seat can be used rear facing up to 35 lbs.Love the breathable material and the great color. Albeebaby.com was also the best price! All Rights Reserved. If anyone can answer these questions I would appreciate it. Thank you! The Como only rear-faces to 35 pounds compared to the 40 or 45 pounds of the various Radian models and 40 pounds of the My Ride. Also, the Como tends to not have a lot of leg room for rear-facing.http://www.awluks.pl/fck_files/financial-accounting-theory-solution-manual.xml I'll let someone else get into the specifics of the Como itself, but based on the other options that are available (in addition to the Radians and the My Ride, the Complete Air also rear-faces to 40 pounds), I think the Como would be toward the bottom of my list of recommended seats. My petite five year old was getting pretty tight in it at 32 pounds, and she was already out of leg support. And her dangling legs with no support would have bothered her quickly. How old and heavy is your child. What car will it be going into. I'd chose the My Ride for a shorter child, or a child with a short torso. The Radian is not as easy to install. But I'd chose it in a heartbeat for a heavier or longer torsoed baby. Wendy It was really nice when trying it out in the living room but that is about as far as our love went.lol. It was difficult for me to install (but that was also the first convertible seat I've ever installed) and it's base is ridiculously high. While it fit in both my Neon and Grand Caravan, I kept hitting my son's head on the top of the vehicle and Caleb was only 5 months old at the time. It also offers little to no leg room at all. By 6 months old, Caleb's feet were touching the seat back. I can't imagine what it would look like with him at 2 yrs old. The top slots are very high (around 19 inches) but the seat gets very narrow towards the top of the shell, making it uncomfortable for many children as they start growing. I've heard that most outgrow the seat by 5-6 yrs old from simply being too uncomfortable in the seat because of the narrowness in the shoulders and the lack of leg support while FF. I'm pretty sure not much has changed with the new model. I would never recommend it but there are those that love the seat so I dunno I have the MyRide and Radian XTSL and love both seats. Both will fit most RF close to 3 yrs old but the XTSL will RF them longer, probably closer to 4 yrs old.http://www.statcardsports.com/node/11375 The Radian has a taller shell, by about 2-3 inches, but the MyRide is much easier to install. Both will get most children to proper boostering age, around 5-6 yrs old. Either seat is great and you can't really go wrong with either one. My son is growing faster than I would like so we went with the XTSL to keep him rear facing longer. He still fits in the MyRide but will probably outgrow it RF shortly before turning 3 yrs old I'm trying to decide on one to fit center 3 across, so the base being high didn't bug me as I need something that will puzzle well, and saw this one for a not so bad price. It is intended for my almost 8 week old who weighs 13.3 lbs. Not sure how long she is now. I will be using it to reharness my almost 5 year old until she maxes out the weight limit in our snugride which will probably only be another 2-3 months. Therefore, I totally understand what you are going through right now. Therefore, I have picked two popular convertible car seats for review in this article as for your reference. Britax Marathon Click and Safe Convertible car seat: It is suitable for baby from 4 to 35 pounds (rear facing) and 20 to 65 pounds (forward facing). The click and safe system design is for the appropriate level of snugness to the babies. The superior comfort and positioning features are used for safety to the child and convenience to the parents purposes. The 5 point tangle free harness with four harness heights allows the baby to enjoy the seat in comfort and secure feelings. These are the outstanding features that Britax could provide. The harness adjustments require re-threading and it makes many parents feel inconvenient. RECARO Signo G2 Convertible Car Seat: It is suitable for child from 5 to 35 pounds (rear facing) and 20 to 70 pounds (forward facing). It could fit to most of the vehicles and it also contains the side impact protection features. RECARO has purposely design an infinite adjustable headrest for comfort and the innovative LATCH bar design for ease in changing from rear facing to forward facing positions. It has a 5 point harness, top tether and microfiber cover. Another high rated convertible car seat for most parents. The installation is simple and easy to install for most parent use. It is expensive at the range of around USD290. This could not fit into two seat vehicle as RECARO instructions clearly that it could not be install in the front seat in any vehicle. Warning: Read the features and the drawbacks clearly and decided which one does fit into your own needs and requirements. In general, both convertible car seats are high rated by many users and they are definitely worth your time to study for further considerations. The unit comes in different colors, designs and sizes. It's up to you to choose the one that is ideal for you. Previous Reincarnation, Newborn Babies, Astrology and Past Lives Apr 29, 2019 Article We always ponder a soon-to-be-born child's past lives and how we knew them during the pregnancies of friends and family members. This past June, our sister Meg gave birth to her first child, a healthy baby boy, and we had fun perceiving about him on a spiritual level before his arrival. During her pregnancy, Meg. Does Recaro make any that have the snap-in base to use in multiple cars and drop into a stroller like some others I see.Lots of people just throw a towel down but they do make special seat protectors that essentially covers the entire seat surface. I honestly just throw mine straight in, no towel. It doesn't really mess stuff up but my seats aren't exactly stellar.I haven't put it in the backseat yet though. Probably should give it a test since we're almost 90 days away from the 'event'.That's just how I am. As it was my child if figured I'd splurge, of cousre as soon as a year passed and it was safe she went into a blue and black Recaro which matched the B5 seats at the time. She is now 6 and is still in the Recaro minus the belts and using it as a booster. As for the seat protector, it's best function is to help minimize the impressions left by the bottom of the car seat when you strap it sown for long periods of time. If your child hits 30lbs before a year you may need an intermediate seat, before you can use the recaro. Hope this helps you, I'm at work so no pics. Peg-Prego The young sport is a better choice for the long term. I think i may have to go Graco until she's old enough for a Recaro Young Sport. So for a complete package the prego although a little more was a much better choice, also the had a full stroller that only weighed like 11lbs. It does not seem like much but I lived in NYC at the time and carrying that thing and a bag plus anything else up and down the subway and to the parking lot from the apt would have been a pain. BTW my wife at the time made me read about all this shit, might as well help others. I haven't put it in the backseat yet though. Probably should give it a test since we're almost 90 days away from the 'event'. Your little one will definitely have fun in the back of that RS4!!! Looks like I have some more research to do for the initial baby carriers then. Seems like there are a lot of different manufacturers that make modulars systems. So for a complete package the prego although a little more was a much better choice, also the had a full stroller that only weighed like 11lbs. BTW my wife at the time made me read about all this shit, might as well help others. I figure I would have to buy at least 3 extra bases for my parents, in-laws, and wifes truck. She's no where near as OCD as I am!!! LOLI can't wait for her to weight enough which should be soon. When I was a kid we just had lap belts, things have changed. He spends most of the time in the Treg or Q5, and when in the backseat of the RS4 the front has to be moved WAY-up.I have the 4yo in the Recaro Vivo Booster, and she has barely any legroom, and the 6mo in a Euro imported quinny maxi cozy, that also barely fits. I went to Kids r' Us and tried EVERY single rear facing set-up; all with bases, and they all used more space than the quinny. Mitbackwards; looks like you have the baby behind the passenger. Anybody have a seriously small rear-facing seat? -BAnybody have a seriously small rear-facing seat? -B I have a mat down so the white seats dont get all jacked up and it covers one of the buckles for the seat belt.We are debating about what to get for the Avant. A Recaro is in the works for when the baby is older. Unfortunately the S2K will have to go before august. Looking at the Gracos and Peg Perego. Definitely interested in peoples opinions on what they like the best and what was the best for getting in and out of a B6.About the only thing that the Graco's have going for them on my end is that EVERYONE else in our family has the Graco bases.I have a mat down so the white seats dont get all jacked up and it covers one of the buckles for the seat belt.Use the belt. Do a search here and there are loads of posts by others that know a lot more than me. The Graco32 is a great seat, and I thought it was the best one out there. One of the greatest reasons was for the snap and go stroller. You will end up with 2-3 strollers. We have the jogging stroller(wife a marathoner), the fancy one(waste of a grand, and i would recommend againts it unless you are a city dweller that goes everywhere by foot) and the portable one.the Graco snap and go for about 60 bucks(the best bang for the buck). It is small, making it great to get in and out of the back of the car, restaurants etc.best of all, when the little guy falls asleep in the car, you can just move him to the stroller and back without waking him up. If I were going to have the little guy in the back of the RS4 all the time, I'd look for a slightly smaller seat. You really cant fit another adult in the passenger seat comfortably. Most of the stores may let you try the seat out in the car.I'm not sure about babies r us, but some of the higher end bay stores will, and the prices on the seats are the same.Use the belt. Telling people to search is a cop-out.If you leave the carrier handle in one of the upward positions it gives you 3 in.Don't forget the mirror for the back seat too in case you need to travel with the new one alone. Has anyone checked the Owners Manual. Also with our rear Side and curtain airbags, I think the middle may be the best bet. They are huge and yes we have the Como G2 convertible. The convertible means rear or front facing child seat. For quick trips were I need to carry her in my car I use the Graco rear facing and she is 14months old. 95 of the time the Como G2 stays in the other family car and that is what I take. Once we can turn her around I'll get something different for my car. Have fun.Audizine is not endorsed by or affiliated with Audi AG. Then I tried a few baby seats at the local USA Baby - close, but. I did some research. Britax - or more specifically - the Euro company Britax-Roemer. These 3 seats are not normally sold in the USA, as they are Euro standard seats. So, if you need one, get a friend to simply buy one for you in Europe, and ship it over. Or maybe one of our enterprising parts dealers (Daniel?) might want to bring a few over. Which leads to this. I did and found in the manual where it stated that Ferrari would provide a child seat for free. I got one (the largest one) and it is pretty cool. Ferrari red and black, with a logo embroidered in the back of the seat. Has a built in gadget that the car senses and disables the air bag automatically. Except for the manual, which was for a Mercedes, the whole package was very professional. Good luck. MikeI use the key to turn it off anyway, just to be safe. My grandkids love the car. Good luck. Sakura Gelly Roll, Pentel Sunburst, Uni ball Signo, etc. I will only buy Paper Mate, Uni Ball Signo, or Pentel pens. I just tried this pen out and compared it to the Uniball Signo 207. Previously we had a Recaro Signo in it and I never felt good about the install. For me, this distance is substantial, but no more so than on the Signo or Pilot G2. I had found that Uniball Signo had been the most reliable pen, right down to the last drop.
