Johnnie Boy 2.0 out of 5 stars I have just changed the clutch on our Ford Fiesta using the manual. I am no stranger to DIY car mechanics but I found this manual difficult to use. My worst criticism being the list of torque values with the descriptions and you don't really want to get this bit wrong. The descriptions of the parts in the front suspension were not consistent with the text making it difficult to be absolutely sure you were using the correct value. Also it gives instructions like remove the top bolts from the gearbox. How many am I looking for and where are they. They are really hard to see and find. It turns out there are only two it would be easy to state that. I have just compared it to my Dolomite Sprint Manual published in 1974. This manual is full of drawn cross sectional views and technical illustrations which are much clearer than photos, with parts properly numbered and referenced so that you know what they are called. I have attached an example. On the following page there is an additional X-section positively identifying the remaining parts. I have not included anything from the Fiesta Manual as there is no equivalent only a series of black and white photos. If they could address my points this it would be a great improvement.I have just changed the clutch on our Ford Fiesta using the manual.
