We make a point to keep this page up to date as much as possible to help you find the best deal for your next dream car. If you have, you might want to hold your horses just a bit before jumping the gun and getting your hands to the keys of your next vehicle. Much like having drunk goggles on in a bar, entering a dealership and loving a car right away will lead you to ignore the other things about it. If you fall in love too much with a car even before driving it, you tend to ignore details such as; price, fuel economy, maintenance cost, safety features, and others. In the early part of the millennium, there were still some car models that do not even feature airbags, or you had the option to omit it from the standard kit to save a significant amount of money from the sticker price. You also have cars that offer more than 2 airbags, there are airbags for the rear occupants, your knees and even curtain airbags to protect yourself against side collisions. There are even cars with cameras mounted all around it that sense if a car is veering off from its lane or to warn you of impending danger. Some agents and dealers even waive off the down payment amount and simply give you the monthly amortization you have to pay. Don't get sucked in with all these low monthly payment options. At the end of the day, nothing beats good financial planning on your end. Everything seems to be too complicated and that's where Philkotse.com comes in. We make your car buying experience as enjoyable and simple as possible. Can't wait to come and check it out. Thanks I was kinda expecting more info on the car I send the information and what I needed, I called and it took them 10 minutes to find my email. They told me they will send out everything to the bank, and I gave them 2 days, but nothing was sent over. Looked at other reviews of the company and the place seems very sketch If you want to go to a place that stinks of cigarettes to buy vehicles that stink of cigarettes this is the place to go! The cars are definitely used and not in the best condition but there are many to choose from. My wife was impressed at how quickly all the paper work was done. This was a home buy. The car was brought down from Show Low to Phoenix The driver spent over an hour to demonstrate the new features for the car. They earned the 5 star rating and more. The price advertised was the price of the car. The car was nice and clean. My wife asked about the new car smell. I would gladly recommend Hatch Toyota to anyone. Cars had broken front and rear windshields, lots of scratches. They had a take it or leave it attitude and didn't report that the car had 2 accidents. Unfortunately we were headed on vacation and waited till we got back and the vehicle had sold. I didn’t feel rushed or hounded to purchase a vehicle off of his lot. I would definitely recommend buying a. Vehicle from Goldboyz Auto.Made purchasing a vehicle a fast and smooth process. The salesman was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about the vehicle. We asked for a few repairs and four days later we picked up the car. I would definitely recommend buying from this dealership. Haven’t heard back. They were very up front with me and said they were firm on their price. I appreciate not having to make the trip. They were courteous and that was the end of our conversation. I did buy a car from another dealership the following day. Did not try to pressure me to buy the car.AC out. Window doesn’t go up. Bad smell. Why post in this condition?I told the sales rep we would just go elsewhere, which we did, and then the day after we purchased a vehicle elsewhere, the sales rep reached out to see if we were still interested in the vehicle. Motor cars Express made it very easy. Great people to work with. All my questions were answered in a timely manner. Even took more money off of the Low pressure purchase and offered to hold the car to give us time The truck mysteriously was moved to Eastern Washington. Will never do business with them again. They did everything they could to work with me to make this purchase happen. The Sorento entered the market in 2003 as Kia's compact SUV, available in either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. Its sturdy truck platform and low-range gearing has made it a solid performer both on and off roads, and it is one of Kia's best-selling vehicles to date. It has always been available in either LX or more luxurious EX trims. Until 2007, it was equipped with a somewhat sluggish 3.5-liter, 192-hp V6 engine matched with either a 5-speed manual or automatic. In 2007, it got a much needed boost to a 3.8-liter, 262-hp V6, but only came with a 5-speed automatic with sequential shift. Sitting on 16-inch wheels (or optional 17-inch with a sport package that also adds on a rear spoiler, fog lights, and running boards), the Kia Sorento only offers two rows of seats for up to five people, unlike some competitors of equal size that offer a third row option. The Sorento was always well equipped with airbags, traction control, and stability control, and finally made ABS standard with its 2007 models. In 2007, in addition to the part-time 4WD, a new Torque-on-Demand option for the EX was added, for improved off-road capability. It has been rated number one in customer satisfaction for its four-wheel drive performance according to J.D Powers. The Sorento offers a lot of features for its relatively low price tag, and now with a new engine, its performance, towing capability, and road handling are much more in line with comparable SUVs. For 2009, the Sorento will likely go through another makeover, transforming into a crossover vehicle. Plus, it's eIt’s grown up with a more upscale appearance, a refined interior, and a new turbocharged engine option.Good value high end features. Plenty of space for growing teenagers even in the third row. Love it!However it was more than I was willing to pay. The other model I would compare it to is the Ford Edge. After all, over 30 million shoppers use CarGurus to find great deals on used cars and new cars in their area. And when it's time to get rid of your old ride, sell your car simply and securely on CarGurus. And if you only want to see cars with a single owner, recent price drops, photos, or available financing, our filters can help with that too. In that case, look to a larger 3-row SUV like the Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Explorer or Honda Pilot. The Sorento’s Goldilocks nature doesn’t end there. This mid-size crossover offers three engine choices, and perhaps most impressive is the one in the middle, a direct-injection 4-cylinder that offers both power and fuel economy. With its good looks, host of amenities and premium options such as ventilated leather seats, the U.S.-built Kia Sorento is a seriously pleasing family vehicle. At these prices, the Sorento undercuts slightly larger competitors like the Toyota Highlander, Ford Edge, Nissan Murano, and Honda Pilot, and is on par with the Chevy Equinox. It is more expensive than the Dodge Journey. Be sure to check the Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price to see what buyers are actually paying for the Sorento. In the long term, the Sorento’s resale value is expected to be strong. The SUV is well-mannered, easy to maneuver, and relatively comfortable. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, with all-wheel drive (AWD) optional on all trim levels. In a nice surprise, all-wheel-drive versions have a switch that locks the center differential for better traction on slippery surfaces and for when things get rough on occasional off-pavement excursions. With the base engine, acceleration is adequate, but there isn’t much power in reserve for passing. More welcome is the newer direct-injection 4-cylinder engine that is optional in LX models and standard in EX versions. For those wanting the most power and towing capability (up to 3,500 pounds), a V6 is offered across the line. The Sorento’s sole transmission is a smooth, refined 6-speed automatic. Seating position is good and interior controls are a cinch to locate and use. Details abound on the dash and door panels, and soft-touch surfaces are easy on the eyes and hands. Numerous cloth patterns and leather combinations help the Sorento to further distance itself from the plebeian models of its past. Legroom is good in the 3-passenger second row, but expectedly tight in the 2-seat third row. That last row is best for children, and folds flat when not in use. With both rows folded, cargo capacity swells to 72.5 cubic feet. In addition to endowing it with looks that will likely hold up well in the future, they also help make the most of the Sorento’s passenger and cargo space. Up front is the new Kia badging surrounded by a honeycomb grille, which itself sits between menacing headlights. Exterior bits vary by model, with higher trims receiving items like silver roof rails and a rear spoiler. LX models ride on 17-inch wheels, and EX and SX trims ride on 18-inch wheels. Top-line SX models are stuffed with features like heated front seats, a 10-speaker Infinity premium audio system, and auto-dimming rear-view mirror. The Convenience Package on all-wheel-drive base models, for example, includes roof rails, backup warning system, UVO telematics system, and fog lights. EX and SX models include premium packages that include amenities like a navigation system, panoramic sunroof, air-cooled driver’s seat, illuminated scuff plate, and heated steering wheel. Note that the packages can cost thousands extra, and are your only way of getting particular options such as a built-in nav system. Its port-injected 2.4-liter 4-cylinder makes 175 horsepower and 169 lb-ft of torque, while the 3.5-liter V6 turns out a far more energetic 276 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. The GDI (gasoline direct-injection) 2.4-liter 4-cylinder may be the perfect choice, with 191 horsepower and an EPA estimated 30 mpg on the highway. All versions feature a Kia-designed 6-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic manual shift mode. Towing capacity is rated at 1,650 pounds maximum for models with the 4-cylinder engines and 3,500 pounds for those with the V6. Alternator went out and there’s an electrical issue with it making it to where the alternator goes out. I flipped couple times and ended upside down on opposite side of the road. All airbags deployed and I walked away with only a few scratches on my arm. I was so pleased with the safety of the vehicle that I bought a 2013 same color, style and trim. I’ve had it almost 9 years without any problems whatsoever. Just did regular maintenance. It now has 97,750 miles and I’m contemplating trading it in but there’s still nothing wrong with it. It will still make someone a very good car for years to come. RPMS dropped to 0 the car was dead. I tried to start it and nothing, I coasted to the side of the road and called for a tow truck. I kept the oil changed regularly and services that needed to be done. This car crapped out on me at 124k miles. Of course it is paid for but I have never had a vehicle do this to me in my life. Paint peeled off both front pillars in 2018 (metal frame between windshield and door) and had to be sanded down and repainted (not covered under warranty). Many electronic issues (doors will only lock occasionally, steering wheel controls randomly work, sometimes volume up turns the volume down, sometimes volume down brings up voice command or emergency call). On multiple occasions when my son has been practicing parallel parking, the steering wheel will freeze up after 10 or so minutes. I had to file the fake plastic chrome on the center console handle when I first bought it because it was so sharp it would slice my fingers open. The knob on the front passenger vent broke off after less than a year so you can no longer control the direction of the airflow. The rearview camera had to be replaced in 2016. I had to have the passenger sideview mirror replaced in 2016 after it quit working and it has been very hit or miss since then if it will move or not. The driver's ventilated seat has barely worked since I got it and the heated seat will burn you on either the medium or high setting (the passenger side works fine). Since 2017 the inside of the headlight covers is super foggy and cannot be cleaned (they are not cracked). The fuel door latch sticks all the time. The gas mileage is not good, I average 20-21 mpg on the highway. That's all I can think of off of the top of my head. Last week the timing chain started skipping. Also own a Kia Optima 2011 which had to have the engine replaced at 120,000 miles. Stylish with nice options, but never again Kia, never again. The size class for cars is determined by the interior passenger and cargo volumes. The size class for trucks is defined by the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), which is the weight of the vehicle and its carrying capacity.EPA re-tests about 10 of vehicle models to confirm manufacturers’ results. This is typically measured in liters (3.2L, for example), though sometimes it is expressed in cubic inches. I-4 and V-6 refer to the configuration and number of cylinders.Transmissions must either be controlled manually by the driver (“Manual Transmission”) or automatically by the vehicle (“Automatic Transmission”). One type of Automatic Transmission is the Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVT) which doesn’t have a fixed number of gears.Common configurations include front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. One star is the lowest rating; five stars is the highest. More stars equal safer cars. The LX V6 now comes with standard third-row seating. Planned for later in the model year is a new Convenience Package with 8-way power driver's seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter and a first aid kit.The Sorento is a little more maneuverable than the larger vehicles while offering just as much practical space. The Sorento was completely redesigned in 2011 and offers a wealth of passenger and cargo space, while its engine lineup offers both power and fuel efficiency. Kia says that the V6's 276-horsepower output is best-in-class, and fuel economy on the 4-cylinder Sorento is among the best in this category. The Sorento's strong warranty--ten years or 100,000 miles for powertrain and five years or 60,000 miles basic warranty, and five years or 60,000 miles of roadside assistance--also help make this a strong choice for families. The standard engine is a 175-horsepower 2.4L 4-cylinder, offered on the Base and LX models. A direct-injected 191-horsepower, 2.4L 4-cylinder engine is standard on the LX GDI and EX GDI, and paired only with a 6-speed automatic. The SX's standard (and LX- and EX-optional) 3.5L V6 makes 276 horsepower and brings especially strong acceleration with a smooth, refined character, while the 4-cylinder is quite economical, achieving EPA ratings of up to 21 mpg city, 27 mpg highway in all-wheel-drive configuration. The all-wheel-drive system is available with LX or EX trims, regardless of the engine. Kia's all-wheel-drive system can send up to 50 percent of power to the rear wheels when needed and comes with a locking center differential that can help provide better traction in harsh weather conditions. Kia hasn't completely forgotten about weekend hauling and towing needs, and the Sorento can tow up to 3,500 pounds. First- and second-row seating in the Sorento is ample for full-size adults, and the optional third-row has enough space for children, though it does reduce cargo room. Second and third-row seats both fold forward to allow 72.5 cubic feet of cargo space in all. Standard equipment on all Sorento models is extensive, and includes a trip computer, power windows, locks and mirrors, air conditioning, a Bluetooth hands-free calling interface and a sound system that includes an MP3-compatible CD player, USB interface, auxiliary inputs and Sirius satellite radio. Base models are equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, while LX GDI models step up to a 6-speed automatic in addition to body-color heated mirrors with integrated turn signals for a more upscale appearance. EX GDI models include push-button start, smart keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, leather seating, fog lamps, heated mirrors, automatic headlamps and larger 18-inch alloy wheels. Options on the all-new Base LX include a UVO voice-activated infotainment system, rearview camera, rear sonar, heated front seats and fog lamps, while the LX GDI options include a third-row seat, plus a Convenience Package with heated front seats, a backup system, fog lamps and roof rails. Among the exclusives offered on the EX GDI are a Premium Package, with a panoramic sunroof and leather seats; a rear DVD entertainment system and a Limited Package that brings chrome wheels plus a navigation system, real-time traffic information, accent interior lighting and a 550-watt Infinity surround-sound system. Safety features on the 2013 Sorento include seat-mounted side airbags, side-curtain bags and front active headrests on all models, along with electronic stability control and anti-lock brakes, plus Hill Start Assist Control and Downhill Brake Control, which uses the vehicle's transmission to help moderate speed on slippery grades. The recall is expected to begin November 24, 2015. Please try again later. It has been great! I have had NO issues.I take it to the service center to get an oil change and tire rotation every 8k - 10k miles and I have had the recommended services done. I have replaced my tires once - and now things are nosier:( (I didn't use the same tires) and I have had to replace the front brake pads 1x. I am probably trading this in soon, as we are going thru an unexpected adoption, and I now have 3 kids. Yes, the 3rd row is very handy - but not if you have a 5 person family. 4 person family with the occasional kid spending the night - it's great. It is just impossible for 5 of us to go on vacation and have room for luggage. Favorite features on my SX: heated steering wheel, heated seats, rear air conditioning, and my bluetooth.Shortly after the purchase I realized I was not getting near the mileage I should and then there was an announcement that mileage was purposefully inaccurate. Now I have to deal with high gas bills and getting what they think is a fair reimbursement in the form of a visa gift card every year. I have the hassle of going to the dealership for them to verify my mileage for this also. I don't have young children yet pieces of the interior seem to fall off or break as if I did. Safety is out the window. When first getting the car I was back in the dealership several times to have the seat belts fixed and the middle row seats were stuck and would not adjust properly. Currently my airbag system is not working at all. I had numerous recalls that I had to spend my time having taken care of. I had the wiring harness in my headlamps completely melt. Cruise control needed repair and even after I need to press the buttons on and off several times prior to getting it to work. It will occasionally just shut off while in use. The usb port works when it wants and the dvd player decided to quit years ago. It has one star because it has never left me stranded anywhere but I bought a new car when I did because I was starting to have these issues with an 8 year old car. Very disappointed. That took MANY trips to several dealers over MANY months to finally get fixed. Another incident was when someone tried to open the back door from the outside, and the handle simply came off in his hand. I was able to fix that myself. And, recently the inside door handle on the driver's side broke and had to be replaced. However, my main complaint is with the paint. After only a couple of years, paint chips starting coming off the hood, then the top, then the side pillars. Who knows what is next. We were told it was not covered under warranty. Now, after six years, there are huge patches where the paint has simply peeled away. Yes, the car sits outside, but I've had many other vehicles sit outside and I've never seen anything like this before.Generally good except I live 70 miles away and have to have the oil changed frequently to maintain the warranty I was told. Also, they say I should'n use synthetic oil. I don't understand that. They are nice and easy to get appointments. Prices are average for a dealership. Would I buy one again: yes. My kids have an Optima, also a good car: their second one.Mileage above average and held up well on. I owned an LX 2013 model with convenience package. Radio was just Ok, stock speakers could be better. Mileage above average and held up well on extended drives. I was not convinced that my Sorento would continue to hold up well after 90,000 miles.
