My regular service centre has replaced hoses, pressure tested and re-tested the cooling system for leaks which were not apparent externally. I have now done 2500km since this was done and today in 32 degC conditions the AC unit stopped working and the radiator temperature shot up and the car nearly overheated. Took about 3 to 4 litres of water and still no clue of where it is being lost. AC started working again after being switched off for 5 mins. Have you any insights as to where the water is escaping and is this a regular Sorento problem?Are you sure it was bled well and that it was not an airlock that caused it to almost overheat. Has it used any water since your last fill up?If only I could find a proper Kia mechanic. Nobody seems to understand these vehicles.
