The display will alternate between displaying the selected frequency and the output signal current. It is best to choose the low est frequency for direct connect with far-end g round and a high frequency for direct connect with no far -end ground. Clamp the Dyna-Coupler around the cable belo w any bonds just before cable enters the earth. The jaws of the coupler m ust fully close. Press to turn T ransmitter on. Press to turn the T ransmitter on. Press again to select either 33 kHz or 133 kHz. For gr eater tracing range, select high output le vel by pressing. Press to turn the Receiver on. H50 Hz or H60 Hz (high harmonic): Best for general locating of passiv e power. These current indications will help to select a trace frequency, identify the correct cable and trouble shoot the set up. When using the direct connect method, the Transmitter output current number is displayed. Perform a battery test then with the T ransmitter off, connect the Black clip to the ground rod. Piv ot the frame in a circle around red leg re-inserting the green leg in ground e very few de grees of the circle. If you find tha t the received signal is too weak in this mode, try the Special Peak mode. T o attach the accessory, slide the Recei ver horizontally into EMS Marker Locating Accessory mounting slot. Make sure the locking button holds the Recei ver securely in the slot. If fault is a shorted pair, connect Red clip to tip and the Black clip to ring. Perform a battery test; then with the transmitter off, connect the Dyna-Coupler to the T ransmitter front panel jack using the coupler cable. Press to select T one mode. Connect the inducti ve probe to Recei ver accessory jack using probe cable. Press to select the highest toning frequency (133 kHz). Insert Probe into the b undle of pairs (or gr oup, if kno wn) and press. Please check your inbox, and if you can’t find it, check your spam folder to make sure it didn't end up there. Please also check your spam folder. The Transmitter provides four frequencies to accommodate varying factors such as distance, cable type, or soil conditions. If desired, all four frequencies may be transmitted at once. The Transmitter also provides a separate Tone function for identifying cables and pairs. The Receiver provides four locating modes to accomplish fast or difficult tracing and to pinpoint or verify a conductor. The Receiver detects 50 or 60 Hz AC Power signals and also measures the signal current in a cable and displays its magnitude. The depth of buried cables or sondes may also be displayed. Batteries may leak or explode and cause personal injury. Always remove batteries when storing the units. For each press, one of three units will display. To change the passive Power frequency, press and hold then press to toggle between 50 or 60 Hz as displayed in the lower left corner of the display. See section About Trace Modes (Page 11) for further information. The time interval can be extended by pressing and holding.http://mistlondon.com/userfiles/3m-filtrete-air-purifier-manual.xml During the battery test, the bar graph should extend to the right of the battery level mark, otherwise replace the batteries. If the unit resets when the high output level is selected, use the normal output level or replace the batteries. Use the supplied cigarette lighter adapter cable to connect the DC power from a vehicle's battery source to the Transmitter's external power jack located next to the output jack. To select 5 watt operation, press once for high output (3W) and again for 5 watt operation. The High Output flag will turn on for 3W and flash for 5W. Make all direct test connections before turning on the Transmitter. Then activate the Transmitter in the Ohms mode and check the display for voltage readings. Follow standard procedures for reducing the voltage. Turn the Transmitter off before handling connecting cables. Plug the direct connect cable into the front panel jack. Connect the Black clip to the ground rod. Place the ground rod in the earth perpendicular to the suspected cable path. If necessary, extend the black lead with the Ground Extension Cable. Next, remove the ground bonding and attach the Red clip to the shield. It will measure the continuity of the cable under test. When displaying ohms, the flag over the will be visible. When displaying volts, the flag over the 'V' will be visible. When the voltage magnitude is sufficient to impair the accuracy of the ohms measurement, only voltage will be displayed. If the voltage is AC, a sine wave will be visible on the display. If a high AC voltage is detected, a rapid beeping tone will be heard. Press again to select one or all of the four frequencies. The display will alternate between displaying the selected frequency and the output signal current. They are not something you are able to see every day - so it's quite surprising that people are suddenly asking how to write in the center of such illustrations.CREATUREGRAPHICS.COM/images/3m-2400-manual.pdf The reality is, however, they are the very heart of the book. It is only in this region of the publication that you will be doing some actual work, therefore it's vitally important that you are writing with care. That being said, I have found that the best way that will help you get this correct is to give you some basic advice on page layout. By way of example, it is very difficult to read if there is more than 1 typeface on a page. If there are just two, three or four types of fonts on the page, it becomes very easy to lose your place and so to get lost. It is also not a good idea to let a lot of color at any 1 time - for instance, you may need to use a little touch of black if the font you are using is in a very bright shade. The reason for this is that it does not look quite pretty. This also applies to using broad variety. Also, if you don't use something referred to as a dash in the text that you're writing in you may be finding yourself at a lot of trouble. While there are many variations of this letter, for instance, it's normally placed between the letters which we would like to highlight. Therefore, when you're typing, think of what your target audience might be looking in and then make the appropriate adjustments for this.If you do find yourself getting frustrated at a lack of punctuation, you may be able to fix this with just a small bit of practice, but you shouldn't start to rely upon this technique, as it can get very frustrating for the readers. In order to get yourself and your readers used to the punctuation marks which you need, you need to begin with a sentence, then turn it into paragraphs. With training, you need to be able to get used to all the different types of punctuation marks that are available in Microsoft Word. And then of course, there's the basic formatting, which many people have a medium-difficult period with. This might be the area that I find the hardest, because you're supposed to use a specific means of signing your document and yet people are always doing things otherwise.
