Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair! The part you described does not appear in the parts list for this model. Please reach out to DeWalt directly to obtain the part number you need to order. Once you have this information, please feel free to check back with us for pricing and availability information. Thank you. If it does not have a type. It would be a type 1 -WJA And if you don't have the Edge Guide, that is part number 612688-00. -WJA I love my saw First carefully unscrew part number 614368-00 brush cap. Figure number 235 on the parts diagram. Then remove the old 5140024-30 brushes and replace them with the new ones. Sometimes the brushes will get stuck in the brush holders, you can use a pair of needle nose pliers or a pick to remove them. Make sure to unplug your saw from the power source before you do this job. Good luck, -WJA Hope this helps, -WJA. You will not get a full 24 inch cut because the wheel may come in contact with the cart. Could you please explain your previous message about using a spacer? Thank you. Ricardo Mesorana The profile wheel will need to be set so low that it can actually hit the end rail of the cart. To mitigate this issue, you can use a scrap piece of tile or wood to place between the tile and the end rail. I started years ago with the belt drive MK that was whisper quiet, my current one is extremely loud. This description says it comes with a porcelain blade. Been using an old rental that we had purchased and the Dewalt is like switching to a Mercedes Benz from a Pinto. Does everything it says it can do.http://bobiniauto.com/userfiles/bose-wave-ipod-dock-manual.xml The only drawback is that the slider tray has a groove towards the back edge that makes some cuts tricky to make as I was having problems with some countertop edging tiles falling into the groove. Don't waste your money on anything else - you get what you pay for. Quit thinking about it, put it in your cart and buy it now. Was this review helpful. Still amazed at the price I paid for such a profound product. Was this review helpful. It is easy to use, cuts the sizes I need it to, and was well worth the money. The lowest price dewalt d24000 I could find on the web. After the salesperson helped me with some technical info, i was all set. Was this review helpful. Initial setup and alignment are a breeze- just watch your fingers when folding the stand. While working with the saw, a few shortcomings became obvious - the table could be longer or use a back extension to fully support 18x18 in tiles placed diagoanally. The water delivery system has it's quirks - a valve instead of the pinch clamp would be nice to control volume better and the dual system often diverts water to mostly one spout or away from the blade. All in all, well worth the money I spent on it. Was this review helpful. The second saw had something wrong from the beginning.real loud and shaky. I used it for two weeks and had to take it for repairs.bad bearing but covered under warranty. I have owned many saws including MK, Rigid, Rubi, Imer, Gundlach, Felker and Raimondi and none of those saws have had better accuracy, speed of cut and water management systems all in one. Many of them cost much, much more than the DeWalt. If it happens to throw a bearing more often than normal, then I figure I'm still ahead of the game overall, even after repairs. If I have two saws set up on a large tile job, everyone wants to use the DeWalt and the other saw just sits there and rusts. If it weren't for the reliability issue, it would get 5 stars. Was this review helpful.I'm a big fan. Was this review helpful.https://labroclub.ru/blog/02-raptor-660-repair-manual So far it is a good performer. My only issue was the blade included with the saw is unbalanced and made rough cuts. Replaced blade with a thicker one and I was back in business. Was this review helpful. I had used more than 10 wet saw in the last 15 years, and this one is the best. Was this review helpful. But none the less it's a back saver and it cuts great too. Was this review helpful. Very efficient and precise. Was this review helpful. Quick and easy assembly. Extremely convenient. Heavy duty. Fast delivery. Great sales representative. 100 Overall Satisfaction!!! Was this review helpful. It was the first time doing busIness with them and Will Not be the last. Great company with a great price, in this time of economic uncertainty, they are the first step to take. Was this review helpful. I've broken some tile because of this flaw so what I've been doing is putting another tile along the fence to move the tile I'm cutting further out. This works but I consider it a hack; what they should have done is make the rails long enough for the cut to complete while the tray is still on the rails. Was this review helpful. Cut them with no problems. Dead straight too. Seems to be a great saw Was this review helpful. From the price point to the ease of use. I have used many other saws but none have held up to the test of time like this saw. Many are trying to duplicate this saw but trust me when i say there is no comparison. Was this review helpful. Great product right out of the box. Cuts true and straight. Was this review helpful.Use this saw daily. Was this review helpful. For standard all around versatility and reliability the dewalt 10 inch is the best saw on the market. It is well powered, relatively light weight (65 lb ish), and accurate. On top of all that, it holds water better than every saw I've ever used which is important to me because I hate having a big mess to clean after a job is done.https://dfwdrivingschool.com/images/boss-dd-20-manual-deutsch.pdf I'm on my second dewalt now (first one lasted 6 years of heavy use, second one is now at 5 years). This is my second saw the first one is roughly 10 years old and the bearings are going out.need a backup saw just in case. I will take this saw over the 1200-2500 tile saws any day Was this review helpful. This one is the best one on the market for this price range. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a new saw. Of course, this is a toy for someone who knows what they are doing. Was this review helpful.I'm very impressed with its well thought out features and storage options for water trays and tools. I would highly recommend this saw to most tile contractors. Thanks to Contractors Direct for a terrific price and great shipping speed. Was this review helpful. We have a large range suitable for cutting wall or floor tiles. Chose from a manual or powered tile cutter. Selecting a tile cutter to suit you needs will depend on your trade profession, amount of usage and the type of tile to be cut. As I look at the saw there seems two opportunities to align the head but is that the problem. I'm a newby but on my second tile saw.You might like to check out this thread that covers a lot of info regarding the Dewalt, including some alignment help. I also have one and love it. If so, the wheels are probably out of alignment. As I described in my thread (thanks Marge), pull the sled off the rails and flip it over. Then take an accurate straight edge and place it against the wheels on the motor side of the sled. If the straight edge does not touche all three wheels simultaneously, it's out of alignment. You might have to use the DIY method described in the thread. Regards, Dan.If you're having the same problems I had, you need to shim out the wheels to be coplanar. Merely adjusting the rail bar won't fix this. (I adjusted mine about 10 times before finding the real problem.) Regards, Dan. p.s. now that it's shimmed so that the wheels are lined up, it works great.https://www.revistadefiesta.com/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1627288cd8c3ed---breville-bb250-user-s-manual.pdfA new blade would be a good idea.A new blade would be a VERY good idea. Dewalt service gave me a new Dewalt blade. It was better than the original, but still not great. I went back to using my Pearl blade - faster, better cuts, straight cuts, and minimal chip out. The part number is: DTL10HPXL.If the wheels are loose, that will definitely cause a problem as you push the bed through the blade. In my case, one of the steps I took to fix the problem was to adjust the rails to tighten up the wheels to the rail. Unfortunately. If the three left wheels aren't in alignment with each other, the problem gets WORSE after you tighten up the wheels to the rail. The deck will kick to the left and right after the front or rear wheels leave the rail. It sounds to me like you have a newer deck with some sort of adjustment. My deck does NOT have an adjustment screw. (Yes, I looked.) It sounds like Dewalt realized their screwup, slipstreamed a fix, and didn't tell anyone about it. That's par for the course with Dewalt. I'd like to see if it is possible to get the new deck, but I need to know what to look for. Can you post a pic of the wheel alignment screw. Thanks, Dan.First the good news - you are absolutely right. There IS an adjustment screw. Just to be sure, I got out the manual again this morning and checked carefully. There is NO mention of that adjusting screw. This critical piece of information should have been on page 9 with the other adjustments. I found the hole only AFTER scraping out tile gunk that had collected. It's a little hard to see even then. To see the screw, you need to scrape out tile gunk, scrub with a brush to get at the hole, pick out the gunk in the hole, and then clean out it out with maybe an ear swab. (I didn't get to the ear swab level.) I posted pics below of what it looks like in my saw. I would never have found that without your post.BAIGIANGTOANHOC.COM/upload/files/briggs-u0026-stratton-carburetor-adjustment-manual.pdf Given that this is the first time I've ever seen mention of it, I'm pretty sure that this is news to other D24000 owners too. Many thanks for posting. Regards, Dan. p.s., here are three pics show what it looks like and how difficult it is to see. The pics have been enhanced in PhotoShop to make it more visible. After scraping gunk away (it was invisible before): After scrubbing with grout brush: After scraping and scrubbing, and then digging gunk out of screw hole: Right now, it's aligned using the aluminum foil method. Not as elegant as removing the screw, but it's working well, so I'm happy. Regarding the manual, I'm not sure what Dewalt was thinking. But this is a professional-level saw. You have to assume that owners are going to give some hard use. Even if it was in alignment when you bought it, I think it's reasonable to think that may go out of alignment in the future. I think it would have been better for Dewalt to give users the option to fix the problem when it occurs. I.e., treat customers as intelligent adults. Again, many thanks for pointing this out. It's one more good tool in the D24000 bag of tricks. Regards, Dan.I have forwarded this to someone that I think will find it helpful. Brilliant. gueuze. Something went wrong. Other option would be to have it brazed or welded. J. Login to post What could this be? The saw, at that time, wasn't made by Ridgid, it only carried the Ridgid name. I'm not familiar with the Dewalt tile saw enough to give you an opinion on it. If I were in the market for a tile saw, I'd get one by MK Diamond, they specialize in tile, stone, etc. They're priced towards the high end but are of contractor or industrial quality so will last a long time. If they do need repairs they're easy to get parts for that are fairly priced.http://cedresarquitectura.com/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1627288dcee466---breville-bb290-breadmaker-manual.pdfPhone: Call D E WALT customer service at 1-800-4-D E WALT Good luck and please rate 4 thumbs for free answerEither the diamonds are glazed over because the material you are cutting is way to hard or the blade is very thin and when metal gets hot it expands and when you make a longer rip cut it will tend to wobble. I sell blades for a living and i can almost gurantee this is the reasonSome electric motors have two small plugs on the side which house the brushes. See if yours has this and get new parts. The other possibility is that the bearings are corroded and has built up enough resistance to stop everything. Might not be able to replace those, however. Sometimes the bearing is tough to pull out of the gearcase. Do you have a dead blow hammer. Sometimes I have to apply pressure (pulling) to the armature and tap the gearcase make sure that I hit a solid thick piece of it and generally it will jump out of there. Also in the past with the fan bearing on the armature it is so close to fan that you have to crush it in a vise and use a bearing splitter to remove the inner race, or if you buy the parts from Dewalt you might take it with you and ask them to remove and press the new ones on. Let me know if this doesn't work and I will research further. On the next page click on the right side under manual. The manual is 42 pages long but it does have the information you need to readjust this saw. Let me know if you need any more helpI would contact a DeWalt store to obtain the parts or have them do the repair.
