bostitch n75c manualPlease check the attached list or your parts breakdown you can search here to assure yours is on it:Can I add too much?Just a drop or two a day will assure that the oil keeps the internal components moist and well lubricated. Too much oil can cause some feeding problems due to the pooling of excess oil in air ports and chambers. This will create worse problems in cold weather because the oil will naturally thicken a bit, slowing the reaction of the moving parts. If you suspect that too much oil is in the tool, prop the tool up with the air fitting pointing downward and allow excess oil to drain into an oil pan. This is usually enough to allow the tool to cycle smoothly again. Avoid oiling for a few days when this action has been taken. Keep in mind that too much oil is far better than not enough. Dry tools can cause many malfunctions and can cause component damage.See Updated Privacy Policy or Contact Us at 6275 Millcreek Drive, Mississauga ON, L5N 1L8 for more information. I took the gun and nails to the place I purchased the nails (a place that specializes in fasteners and nail guns, not big box) prepared to buy a siding nailer they recommended. They asked to see the gun, even though they do not sell Bostitch they recognized the problem immediately. Not the gun but the nails. They explained the wire spacing on the nail coil from one nail manufacturer to another can vary slightly. The solution was to grind down the teeth on the feed pawl of the gun to allow for out of tolerance nails.http://www.cheap-parceldelivery.com/userfiles/canon-wft-e3-manual.xml

They said it is common to have to do this on all nail gun manufacturers. The gun now shoot flawlessly. The only reasons I did not give it five stars is Bostitch should have accounted for this variation in nails in the design of the gun and second I have only shoot the gun a few times so don't know about the longevity of the gun. By the way place that fixed the gun was Southern Fastener in Oklahoma City. They did it for free, great people! Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2019 I have had nothing but trouble with this nail gun. You literally have to squeeze the trigger and hold it until you pull the gun away from the surface before letting go or it shoots a second nail. Then it seems 1 out of 10 times it bends the head of the nail over and pushes it into the face of the wood. I bought this when we started the project and it sat around for several weeks before I started using it and now I am not eligible to return it even though its only been used a few weeks. I have never been so disappointed in a product. All my other nail guns are Bostitch so I expected similar quality. not so! Please try again later. John S.http://www.dreamscar.eu/userfiles/canon-w8400-manual-download.xml Kiser 1.0 out of 5 stars I should have bought the Hitachi model for a few dollars more. I can only hope to pawn it to some unsuspecting schmuck, since I missed the return window. This is NOT A PROFESSIONAL TOOL. I think this will be my last Bostitch purchase. They have become very inconsistent with quality-control over the last ten years. The turn-around estimate from their customer service center was eight days. Why a factory service center doesn't have repair parts on-hand is anyone's guess. If you depend on your tools to make a living, look elsewhere. Update:. Sent in for repairs. A representative informed me that the issue was a result of the type of oil used that could cause malfunction during cold winter temperatures. Not only does this slow down production, but the constant misfires result in divots in the wood that have to be repaired. I cut my losses and purchased a Hitachi. I hit one and got a message in my phone but never heard it ring. When I listened to the message. I have no idea what was said. He had a thick accent and talked like he was in a speed talking contest. I like Bostitch products, but this is not working out well. Do not purchase this. Please try again later. Please try again later. Keith E. The video show exactly my first impressions. I really like the nail gun and have used it since adjusting the air pressure. The nail depth adjustment on the gun works great. I do have a Paslode framing nailer that uses a gas cartridge and I would say this air gun is a lot more powerful. The 3 inch nails fire in every time and no jams. I like its compactness and ability to store enough nails without constantly refilling. I did put some fencing up with 2 inch nails and it worked flawless. Yes it takes a bit of adjustments and getting used to the gun but I love the unit now and would recommend it highly. Steve Rob ReviewsSorry, we failed to record your vote. I gave it a second chance with cedar shakes and I was swearing and shouting for hours as I attempted to use my thumb to pressure feed the the nail coil. I returned this item right after 2 triesSorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again I t did take me a little while to fine tune the nail depth, but much better than hand nailing.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again I own several Stanley Bostitch nail guns and have found that the gas system on their coil nail guns cannot cycle at the lower end of the specified operating range.annassteen.com/ckfinder/userfiles/files/945gzm6-manual.pdf This may be of little concern for simple wood fence installs but for tricky fiber cement installations, specifically those where fiber cement is directly installed over XPS foam, the lack of finesse when driving nails makes the gun almost useless. Adjusting the nail depth wheel to minimum did not fix the issue. Nails did advance correctly though. At 70-80 psi, nail depth was controlled but nails would not advance. The work-around was to fire the nail in the chamber, move the gun to an area over the foam sheathing, bump against the sheathing while firing and pushing nails to advance with left hand, fire siding, repeat. Literally every other nail would fire this way. Zero nails would fire otherwise. Completely disappointing. I have framing guns that won't fire at lower pressures either, but they don't need to, and don't advertise operating at 70 psi, either. In fact, if the nails are domed up the magazine door can fly open during nailing the the whole coil falls out and unwinds. I almost forgot to add that if the nail isn't coil isn't PERFECT, it won't feed. Period. I did find a solution, however. I bought a Hitachi NV75AG which could not be more different than the Bostitch N75C. At nearly double the cost, it is worth every penny. I bought mine well used and slightly abused and still paid about the same price as the new N75C. The Hitachi is an amazing piece of equipment. It feeds nearly anything you can put in it (straight or bent up) at any pressure (down to 70 psi at 100 cycling) with dead nutz depth precision. The magazine is roomy and sturdy, too. I won't EVER buy a Bostitch coil gun of any kind. I'm looking for an excuse to get rid of my Bostitch roofing nailer and replace it with a Hitachi. And the crazy thing is that just a few months ago I would have told you Bostitch made great nail guns. The N75C was an eye opener to me -- one that has forever tarnished the reputation of Stanley Bostitch.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again. Particularly compared to the Dewalt model. I must have nailed many thousands of nails with it and it is always working without any flaws. No issues, so I think I'll stick with a product that works!Drove the nail home every time and never a jam.
