The tip to get around purchasing the SAAB specific clutch removal tool paid for itself on its first use. Overall and excellent book for a reasonably experienced DIYer.If you aren't that experienced rope in a mate who is, shell out for a couple of beers and learn as you go. For instance, what is that cylinder in the front left fender well. I finally had to search through junk yards to determine that the flexible hose from the air filter does not actually connect to an exhuast port, but just wraps around the exhaust manifold. I get the impression this one was rushed to print.I got through water pump replacement, clutch replacement, numerous tune-ups, replacing a wheel bearing, replacing the transmission, and doing brake service. The amount of grease and oil on the book is s testament to how many times I used it keeping the car in good running order.Very poor value for money.Par contre c'est quand meme utilisable et il y les schemas electriques entre -autres. The Toyota manual is excellent. This SAAB manual is quite good. I have used it already for a starter replacement. It made a big difference. However, I did find, compared to the Hayes Toyota pick-up manual, it has less detail and has minor inaccuracies. They cover several years. The starter replacement that worked was for an older car than the one that I have. A good workbook for the Saab 900 owner to help you do most of the needed maintenance your car will require. I think for the price from the seller I got it from it is a no brainer on the purchase, A good deal all around. This book will be a great guide in getting our vehicle in driving condition. ElPrimero 4.0 out of 5 stars From reading the other reviews, I was apprehensive about the difficulty of software installation. But, I had an old Dell Laptop hanging around in the closet with no other use. So, I decided that the old Dell would be used only for the Eurovan and possibly other vehicles' repair manuals. So I decided to wipe the old Dell's hard drive and do a fresh installation of Windows XP Pro and get it all updated and patched up to the very last updates with Service Pack 3. To my relief, after the Dell was all revitalized and ready to go, I decided it was time to install the Bentley DVD for Eurovan. The Bentley E-Bahn software on the DVD installed without flaw and did so in very short order. The Bentley E-Bahn software is easy to use, and it is well organized in chapters that are easy to navigate to find information you need. The diagrams are all very accurate based on your vehicle. You can even put in your vehicle's VIN to be sure you are getting information only for your model year and vehicle equipment. Overall, the information in the manual is very useful, especially torque specifications for fasteners. But as far as giving you step by step instructions for big jobs like, say, removing the van's transmission, well, there's not that much info. Overall, I'm glad I finally broke down and got the DVD Eurovan Manual. We plan on keeping the 2003 Eurovan for a while longer, and this manual will help in keeping it running. I can recommend getting this software. If you have a computer running a fresh copy of Windows XP, and all set up to use the internet for software registration, then you should have no problem installing and running the Bentley E-Bahn software. I think the software is good value for money overall, and should provide you with useful information regarding most maintenance needs for your vehicle.Cons: -Have you come to expect vendors to help you get new software installed and running at least once. Well, you can forget it. Since it has been 15 years since I owned an XP computer, that is as far as I got. -Vendor response: call Microsoft. Vendor did offer a refund. And they also deleted my one star review.They offered an online product that I could use but the organization of the manual made it very difficult to use in terms of searches. The other issue I had with the product is that the it was not as detailed as other manuals I have. The drawings and exploded views were not clear and did not seem to be complete. Instructions on disassembly was vague. It provided guidance on repairs but little else.Between it and Harbor Freight I can get just about anything done.We had a bit of a time getting it to work, but finally after contacting customer support it works. Just a time intensive installation.It would be nice if Bentley would spend some time to upgrade this program to the current Windows platform or, better yet, PUBLISH THE BOOKS!!! Ok, it's up and running (6th day). You will need 3 licenses to install on an offline computer. As far as content.paltry for the price but as one reviewer said, it's the only thing out there.
