There is no program or anything to configure with except a shoddy speaker configurator. Monitors do not work in it, and it wont even power my laptop. And there are only 4 usb ports which is low. Cons: Poor driver implementation. Starting with the driver installation not working and the broken english prompts. Driver does not support Vista Aero and laptop frequently locked up during the day. As soon as drives were removed, laptop was stable again. Overall Review: I hope Targus re-visits the drivers for this product. It is a much needed device since many laptops do not have integrated docking ports. The driver is not ready for public. 3 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Using it with Vista Business and a Dell Vostro 1710 which has no native docking support. Using the video in external only mode, not clone and not extended desktop. Cons: It hangs about once a day and requires a forced reboot. I had to call Targus support to get installation help as my own attempts left me with no audio. They were in fact helpful. Although it claims to support wide screen 1680x1050 resolution, I cannot make it work. Overall Review: Video seems to be the big problem. If you don't need the video, I would guess it would be OK. If you turn off all the gui accelerations (not just the vista theme) it becomes more stable. The end user has decided to keep it and put up with the problems, so I have to give it more than one egg.
