The content does not replace the factory Porsche service information, but is very helpful for the areas it covers well. In some ways this is much better, but it is not comprehensive. The diagnostic code listing is slightly better than usual, giving most probable cause for each code. Would be helpful to have all torque ratings listed in one table, but instead these are scattered through the procedures.I have heard that the engine in 2003-2004 Boxster is closer to the 987 engine and that some of the stuff here doesn't apply, so for a total engine rebuild this might not be the best book, but for all the stuff I mentioned above (and a whole lot more) it is great, and definitely paid for itself after the first job I did. That said, I've found this manual to be a good compromise between the Boxster owner's manual and the full set of Porsche shop manuals. Things I've found useful so far include: proper jacking and setting of jack stands, torque specs, how to access the engine bay from the top, etc. My car is a 2004 Boxster S. I currently am having a problem with the Litronic lights on my car and have found this manual somewhat lacking in diagnosing the problem. Given that the symptoms are the same for both lights, I suspect the Litronic control unit is the problem, but this is not mentioned in the section on these lights. I found it looking through the circuit diagrams and the abbreviations list. While I would like more diagnostic information, I suspect the standard diagnostic approach requires attachment of a Porsche maintenance tool. I would certainly recommend this manual. It is exactly what I needed. It is a sturdy, well bound book that should last me forever. It has all the schematics that I was looking for.Gives nice info on variations by year.I usually purchase used cars so getting a good manual for these vehicles is my first priority.VAGUE describes it best.Too much for a self maintaining owner. Best for professional mechanics only.VERY EXPENSIVE for what it is.http://www.constrenge.com.br/userfiles/doughboy-powerline-pump-manual.xml I would expect to c.?15 for this much info. Between their sleek design, interiors fit for a king, and top of the line safety and comfort features, who could ask for more from a luxury car? They have captivated our cultural imagination for decades, making many prime appearances in film, such as the Porsche 928 in Tom Cruise’s 1983 film Risky Business. Though Porsche has axed the 928, rumors abound of it making a comeback, so keep your eyes and ears peeled. Mine bought me four!” Even the video game industry got in on the fun, with a special Audi R8 created and sold as a merchandising tie-in for Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV. Performance. Audi’s dynamic steering is like no other brand on the market. Every single Tesla vehicle is either an electric-only or a hybrid, which will help reduce your carbon footprint. BMWs, while sometimes thought to be difficult to repair, are one of the best vehicles on the market in terms of maintaining their value. If well-maintained, they can perform well for far longer than other luxury vehicles of the same price. Hopefully, these give you some ideas of the best cars to bring with you into the new year. There’s a reason the company is There’s a reason the company is number 58 on Forbes’ list of the world’s most valuable brands. Let’s take a look at five of the best Porsche models of all time. It was a rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive design with body design cues that are still visible on modern Porsche models. It featured a mid-engine configuration with the engine sitting in front of the rear axle and transmission instead of behind it. It is one of the most common kit cars built today. As such, it was lighter and more powerful than other 911 models while still maintaining that classic Porsche profile. It is essentially a 911 with all-wheel drive and some added body panels. Even at that price, Porsche lost money on each car. The cost to manufacture them was almost double that.It coined the term hybrid hypercar when it debuted in 2010. The combination produces 887 horsepower and an astounding 944 lb-ft of torque. These don’t look like a typical Porsche sports car but there’s no doubt about their pedigree. The Porsche Cayman GT4 specs speak for themselves. Porsche has made so many amazing models over their 70-plus year history that any list is going to leave something out. There will no doubt be many more models to add to this list as time goes by. However, this greatly depends on where you live and the care However, this greatly depends on where you live and the care you give it. If you live in a place with extreme weather, then your paint may not last as long. A critical step in your paint maintenance regime should be to wax. Car wax may seem like an unnecessary extra step, but it’s vital. The sun’s UV rays break it down, acid rain eats away at it, oxidation starts to creep in. All of these things will slowly damage your paint, and eventually, you’ll have to repaint your car. The layer of wax will take on the damage instead of your paint. Waxing won’t fix these blemishes, but it can make them look less noticeable or even disappear entirely. This gives the illusion of them no longer being there. Of course, as the wax wears away, they’ll come back. Wax again, and you’ll fill them in again. This is how you make a nice looking wash turn into an impressive like-new, gleaming, result. People are more likely to spend more when the car shines above the other vehicles on the market. Those little circles that are left behind are the impurities in the water. Not only do these watermarks ruin the look of your car, but they can also damage your paint. This reduces the shine of your paint. With less water evaporating on your paint, you’ll have fewer water spots. A layer of wax on your paint makes it harder for sticky debris to stick to your paint. This makes it much easier to clean your car. It’s time for you to turn off the computer or lock your phone and head to the garage. Break out your car wax and get to work. But with some simple knowledge, you can avoid visiting the mechanic and fix some Audi But with some simple knowledge, you can avoid visiting the mechanic and fix some Audi issues yourself. Other repairs are simple and cheap. But that doesn’t mean you can’t take the easy and cheap way when your Audi runs into issues. Obviously, your normal screwdrivers, wrenches, and ratchets are required. But Audis require other important tools when you’re in desperate need of Audi repair. Always conduct research to find out exactly what your repair requires. But you may also notice certain mechanics specialize in German car repair. Therefore, they use expensive equipment, complex electronics, and equipment (for both entertainment and function), German-made parts, and even special tires. But it’s difficult to achieve this when you’re not a car junkie or mechanic. But some Audi repairs that would cost you a fortune are easy to do yourself. But by performing this repair DIY, you can be saving double or triple the amount you would spend on a specialized mechanic. But you can even manage expensive repairs in a cheap way. You just need to know what to look for. Because some parts may be easier and cheaper to fix than you would think. If you want to buy a newer Audi model, then that’s no issue. Audi has a pretty generous warranty when you buy new. But if you buy a used or older model, there are plenty of resources where you can find parts, repair instructions, and which tools are required. But no one will argue the expensive and technical upkeep and repairs required for these specialty cars. There are also ways you can purchase parts for cheap and install them yourself. The Porsche is one of the most popular classic cars to If you love working with cars, a rebuild can be a truly rewarding experience that will leave you driving the car you’ve always dreamed of. In this guide, we’ll show you everything you need to know before you tackle a rebuild job. Keep reading to learn how to make this project a success! You might find the used car of your dreams from a private seller, or even a dealership. But even if you get so lucky, the car might have problems depending on how well it was cared for over the years. If you have money, time, and a little bit of mechanical know-how on your side, you can definitely pull off a Porsche rebuild. The car won’t just look like new, but it’ll run like new too. And if you decide to sell the car, it’ll be worth much more. And if you’re passionate about cars, you’ll love the challenging learning process of a Porsche rebuild. You can find parts for classic cars online, and read how-to guides that’ll answer your most specific questions. Now, let’s get into the basics of what to expect during the rebuild. But there are a few specifics to consider when choosing the right car to work with. Does it run, and is it safe to drive as it is. Take an inventory of what’s working and what’s not. Look for issues like leaks or rust that could point to insurmountable damage. Almost every part will eventually get replaced with one that works better. You might also want to aim for historical accuracy, which means rebuilding the car to look as much like it originally did as possible. But if it’s been neglected, restoring the interior will be a challenging part of the Porsche rebuild. Does the car need brand-new seats, or will new upholstery do the trick. Does everything on the dash still work, or will some gauges and switches need replacing? Small parts, like the sun visors or glove compartment, should also be cleaned up and restored. You can save money by finding replacement parts from a scrap yard, rather than ordering new ones. You might need to take off all the body panels to remove the old paint, for example. Any old car will have some rust, but the less, the better. You might also need to replace exterior parts, like the lights, mirrors, gas cap, bumpers, and more. Just like you did with the rest of the car, you need to take a look at each part and decide whether it needs to be repaired or replaced. Some people might try to rebuild the original engine to keep it authentic.
