It’s quite an innovative model and is one of the only “light trucks” in the world which runs solely on a battery. Especially because there are now some cities that are introducing fines for vehicles which produce a lot of emissions. If you’d like to hear just how quiet this model can be, consider visiting a dealership to find out more. There is also keyless entry. This is one of the more popular models and you’ll notice that the company has put a lot of work into making this model very appealing. This makes it a lot easier for drivers to see what’s going on around them, especially when compared to other similar trucks in this market. There is also a lot of space and even room for some storage. It will provide alerts whenever the person driving is speeding. Also, the system will provide alerts if it detects there may be a collision of some sort. Drivers don’t have to spend time switching gears, which can be a huge problem in the stop-start traffic of a city. They even have the option of choosing between blue and black cloth for the interior of the vehicle. There are many benefits that come with this model. Because it’s power output is greater, it means you can carry more items. The high torque output of this vehicle also means that it won’t struggle during times of stop-start motion. This stronger frame means that the vehicle is now more durable, allowing for it to last longer. It’s also easy for people to get in and out of the cab because there’s a step on the side which can provide help. Like the diesel model, there is the option to adjust the steering wheel. This is especially helpful if you’re purchasing these trucks for your business and you need a fleet of them. Using the cloud app, you can track the location of your trucks. You can view data on the driver and how safely they’re driving. This is helpful if you’re trying to encourage drivers to be more efficient with their fuel usage or you want them to be cautious when driving.https://markisaacs.com/images/concrete-repair-manual-3rd-edition-pdf.pdf But, as mentioned, it’s something worth considering if you’re going to be in charge of a large number of drivers. But you may be able to develop a custom approach if you want to track other models. The gas model looks as though it has the most benefits. If so, the electric model is definitely worth considering. Only then will you be able to make an informed judgment call on which model is best for you. Check out these tips from a mechanic. Then, you will definitely love Americans muscle cars. Coined in 1949 due to Then, you will definitely love Americans muscle cars. Coined in 1949 due to the demand for a fast car, muscle cars have become one of Americas most loved cars. The 1960s and 1970s saw the creation of some of the best muscle cars of all time. If you are looking for a muscle car, read one as we look into some of the best muscle cars. The Mustangs have undergone a series of transformation from the first to the fifth generation. There is more to this car that will make you want to own it. It was based on an F-body platform and offered no less than three six-cylinder engines and four V8s. A longer and wider Camaro was then introduced in 1970. The fifth generation Camaro was later introduced in 2010 with a better body and an even better performing engine. Several other challengers were later introduced over the years but the oil crisis crippled the sales of the muscle cars and this lead to the early retirement of this car in 1974. In 2008 the challenger made its way back and this 3rd generation challenger has soldiered on and so far has had a number of stylistic updates. It is very fast and has a 797 horsepower supercharged V8 engine. It featured four-wheel disc brakes, optional side exhaust pipes, a big block, and a 6.5 liter V8. This muscle car has gotten even better with time and the C6 generation that was produced from 2005-2013 and has better handling and is a much-loved sports car. Get ready to experience this legendary ZR1 supercar with a 755 horsepower and a top speed of 212 MPH. If you want a luxurious muscle car, the dodge viper will be an ideal choice. This car has been in the market for 25 years and it is one of the best classics. It also borrowed a little bit from the Ferrari. This muscle car was an instant hit and GM improved its performance over the years. However, in 1974, its sales went down forcing its production to stop. Though you will not be able to find a new Pontiac because 2006 was the last year it was produced you can still buy it from its original owners. In 1967, the second generation Plymouth was introduced and it had responded to the need of the market. The model was much more aggressive with a V8 motor and better handling. It had three V8 engines and was on its way to muscle cars success. These cars have both high and low performing options but if you want to feel the real American muscle cars, then the high performing option is your ideal choice. Subscribe to our newsletters. But, there’s no reason to get the entire thing reupholstered. Click here to learn how to repair leather car seats. And, that goes for fabric seats, too. Instead, you might be surprised by how easy it is to do it on your own. In most cases, the manufacturer of your car will sell a specific repair kit designed to match your interiors. This means that the color of the leather repair materials will most closely match the leather itself. Let things dry completely — at least a ten-minute wait — before moving on. Especially if it’s an older tear, it’s likely that the leather material will have started to crinkle upwards, and that bare threads will be exposed. Now, slowly and gently put the backing cloth in the tear, pushing your cloth up underneath the hole. Use a butter or palette knife and put the filler on the cloth. Wait until every layer of filler has dried before adding more. Don’t proceed with this step until everything is completely dry. Especially if you’ve had to sand a good amount of the backing down, chances are you’ve dirtied up the seat in the process. Then, paint over your patch job slowly and gently. As you’ve already come to expect, you’ll have to wait until each layer dries fully before you apply another one. However, as time passes these cars are fading from However, as time passes these cars are fading from memory. This is a sad chain of events that we’re going to attempt to undo right here. Before we get into the three AMC cars that will make you say, “oh yeah, I remember that car” let’s talk about the American Motors Corporation. In 1954 an epic coming together of Hudson, Nash and Kelvinator formed the American Motors Corporation. Nash had been building cars since 1916 and Hudson had large manufacturing facilities located in North America. The two struggling companies banded together with plans to make a run at the big three car makers. The company hit the ground running by building small, midsize and full-size automobiles. By 1965, with several models on the top 10 bestsellers list, the debt-free company seemed poised to give Chevy and Ford a run for its money. Although this didn’t turn out to be true, the company produced some AMC cars worth remembering in the 60s and early 70s. The company faced major challenges with an increase in government intervention in the form of mandatory automotive regulations. Then the gas crunch crashed onto the shores of the United States in the early 1970s. With AMC cars producing some of the worst gas mileage numbers, the uphill battle to remain competitive turned into a slippery slope. Nevertheless, the American motors Corporation didn’t give up without a fight. They launched the Eagle series of automobiles featuring some unique four-wheel-drive cars. Unfortunately, in the mid-80s the debt ridden company accepted an offer from the Chrysler Corporation for a complete buyout. The little Nash Rambler had been around for a decade, but the AMC version launched in 1958 with a new look. They built the car for more than 10 years and it went through three different redesigns. The company touted the two door sedan as an economical workhorse built for hard-working Americans.Although these AMC cars remained unchanged under the hood from the previous years, the exterior received a heavy restyling. They moved this workhorse into the fun category in 1961 when they offered a convertible version. Sidebar: A sharp looking 1962 Rambler American convertible wearing fire engine red paint starred in the hit sitcom series The Third Rock from the Sun. Thanks to abundant fuel and the need for speed, automotive consumers started moving away from economy cars. In 1966 the American Motors Corporation responded with the launch of a 225 HP V-8 powered Rambler in an attempt to turn the grocery getter into a muscle car. By 1970, with slumping sales, they decided to move the platform back to its roots of the family car and renamed it the Hornet. AMC through big money at the car and even formed a race team run by Penske. Mark Donahue piloted a Javelin to victory in several Trans Am series races. However, competing with the Chevrolet Camaro and the Ford Mustang would prove to be more than challenging. The acronym stood for American Motors Experimental. This car packed the all-new 6.4 liter 390 cubic inch big block engine. In its original version it produced about 320 HP. However, the factory started installing high performance exhaust manifolds, an aggressive camshaft and a high flow performance intake manifold. With horsepower reported in the 350 range these cars fell just short of taking down the Chevy Camaro, Ford Mustang and the Dodge Challenger. In 1970 the company wanted to think outside of the box by making a car that looked like a box. Its overall look, with a long front end and a boxy rear end received mixed reviews. What many don’t realize is the car remains only a few inches longer than the Volkswagen Beetle. In fact, they built the car with the intention to take a bite out of the Volkswagen Beetle’s market share. However, sales figures disappointed the AMC executives. Despite the higher price tag sales increased to over 122,000 units that year. In 1974 American Motors struggled with the design and installation of catalytic converters to meet tightening government emission requirements. Nevertheless, in 1974 and 1975 the company posted its best sales figures with around 175,000 cars sold in each of these years. They gave up on the Gremlin in 1978, yet it remains one of the classic AMC cars worth remembering. You want to purchase a set of rims that suit your wheels and your car, and one that can make an impression. It is a robust rim but remains lightweight. This refers to cars that participated in competitions, and it is these wheels that have contributed to the evolution of rims. This is a very lightweight rim and is better for general driving as opposed to racing. It works well with different models of cars. The BBS Super RS is made of forged aluminum and has an eccentric multi-spoke design. The style can be best described as “old school” and is meant for giving your car the classic look. This is especially a great rim if you are a classic car or luxury car enthusiast. As such, they are not cheap, but if you’ve got a luxury car or a classic car, why not go a step above? Instead of the standard spoke aesthetic, you will notice the rather odd-shaped rings that replace the spokes. This may seem unusual at first, but it’s what adds to the appeal of these rims. You can find a standard looking rim, or you can go for one that is wild if your car’s personality suits it! If you are into customizing your car and standing out from others, you may wish to consider an ADV1 Rim. Additionally, it provides airflow for cooling. If you drive an American classic racing car, you may well find that the American Racing Vector is best suited for it. They are on the pricier side, in the thousand-dollar range, so they are best suited for serious racing enthusiasts. While these are no longer in production, you may be able to still find them available for purchase. Usually, a store that specializes in vintage rims will carry these in stock. As they are a rare commodity, so you can really stand out if you add a set of these to your car. These are windmill-shaped and are in a five-spoke design. They are now a rare commodity. While these never caught on, they were a favorite amongst models such as the 1993 Dodge Viper. These are multispoke designs that work well with classics such as the 1966 Jaguar E-Type. They also work with a variety of tires such as Dunlops, Daytons, and Borrani’s. So, if you need a consistent way to view and video such things as protests and various events in the public or private domain, a telescopic tower is the way forward. There are some types of telescope towers out there that require a trailer for the tower to be transported. But this means you need potentially double the space to park your vehicle. And, if there were surveillance in place, certain unwanted actions might be prevented before they develop into something nasty! There are now specialist drones out there with higher zoom functions, but they are pricey. You’ll have stable, long-lasting, and high-quality visuals that will be able to identify individuals from significant distances. Investing in a highly portable telescopic tower for your vehicle definitely makes sense if you work within the private or public security realms. Read this article to learn more about what happens to the title loan should your car be totaled. In a country with 218 million registered drivers on the road, the number of accidents comes as no surprise. But what happens to that loan when a car is totaled in an accident? And if you’re considering taking out a title loan, there are a few things you should think about before you acquire it. It’s a high-interest personal loan that uses your vehicle’s title to qualify for money that you use to make your car payments. If you fall behind on loan payments, the company is then able to seize your vehicle. They’ll resell it to recoup their losses from the loan you couldn’t pay. To apply for one, you typically need: When your collateral is damaged, like in a car wreck, the terms of the title change. If your car is totaled, it likely doesn’t qualify as collateral anymore. This ensures that you’ll have some form of money to pay back the loan should something happen. They’re not something you can prepare for. There are things you can do to make sure you’ll be in a better situation should something happen. The minimum is usually not enough to help you out of a bad situation. Remember that insurance payments paid now protect your current and future assets. The other people involved in the accident can sue you to cover the costs of their bodily injuries as well as their property damage. This not only costs you the money you’re being sued for but also extensive legal fees. This covers short-term costs in terms of low insurance payments. But it doesn’t account for the potential costs incurred when something actually happens, Without meeting those, you can’t legally drive. In New Hampshire, you can drive without insurance but you’re still held financially responsible should something happen. Meaning that with liability insurance, your property and your injuries aren’t covered. If you’re sued for damages, it provides a minimum legal defence. This includes damage done to a car or damage done to property should the accident involve driving into a fence, for example. It also ensures that your injuries and medical expenses are covered when you’ve caused an accident. This refers to an insurance policy that provides several forms of coverage for your vehicle. Meeting this minimum requirement is the law. Any full coverage policy will include this. This will help cover any damage to your vehicle. This provides insurance coverage for vandalism, theft and other damages that aren’t related to a collision. However, if you’re taking out a car title loan, you’ll want to ensure you can pay the loan if your car is totaled. If you’re ever in an accident, knowing what your car is valued at can help you negotiate with the insurance company. They’ll likely offer you a settlement for less than your car is worth to save them paying out more than they want to. Having proof of how much your vehicle was valued at will go even further. Make sure you get your valuation in writing. This includes checking for injuries, getting out of the way of traffic, and exchanging insurance information with those involves. Your insurance company will help you determine whether your car is totaled and can be considered a total loss. A total loss means your car isn’t worth the money it will take to repair it. Review it to make sure you know the policy. Usually, a total loss is calculated by running the cost of repairs required again the total vehicle’s worth. If the cost of repairs is above a certain percentage of the vehicle’s value, it’s considered a loss. You are not legally required to volunteer this information or even to admit to it. They’re counting on the fact that the looming loan repayment will tempt you into accepting less than you’re entitled to. When your car is totaled, you know longer have the collateral that you used to secure the loan. Your lender can explain the details of the agreement and how it will change as a result of the accident. A lender counts on being able to repossess that collateral should you default on the loan. By selling the vehicle, they’re able to cover the balance of the loan they gave you. First, as if you can renegotiate without collateral. Or, you can find a new form of qualifying collateral. The only other option is to default, which will have a major impact on your credit. Worrying about a car title loan can add to that stress. But following the above guide can help you navigate the process and set you up for the best outcomes. These cars come in 2-door liftback body styles and are powered by 1.8L and 2.0L (turbo and non-turbo) inline 4-cylinder engines, with fuel injection systems. Some models are available with an optional turbocharger. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual or by an automatic transaxle. Remove the distributor (see Chapter 5). Remove the timing belt (see Section 8). Remove the upper timing belt cover (see Section 8), then try removing the camshaft sprocket center bolt and unfastening the camshaft sprocket from the camshaft. Next, suspend the camshaft sprocket out of the wayandmdash;with the belt still attachedandmdash;by a piece of rope. Be sure the rope keeps firm tension on the belt so the belt won't become disengaged from any of the sprockets. Completely loosen the bolts, but do not remove them, since leaving them in place will prevent the assembly from falling apart when it is lifted off the engine. Lift the rocker arms and shaft assembly from the cylinder head (see illustration). Be sure not to let the lash adjusters fall out of the rocker arms. Wrap pieces of tape around the ends of the rocker arms to keep the adjusters in place (see illustration). See Section 7 to inspect the lash adjusters. Once the camshafts have been removed, the rocker arms can be lifted off (see illustration). CAUTION: Each rocker arm must be placed back in the same location it was removed from, so mark each rocker arm or place them in a container (such as an egg carton) so they won't get mixed up. The lash adjusters can remain in the head at this time, unless they are being replaced (see Section 7). Remove the wheels. On vehicles with an Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) remove the rear wheel speed sensors (see illustration). Disconnect the parking brake cables and remove the brake calipers and brake discs (see Chapter 9). Remove the rear hub and wheel bearing assemblies (Section 11). Remove the dust shield retaining screws and remove the dust shields. Place a floor jack underneath the center of the rear axle assembly. Make sure the jack doesn't contact the lateral rod. Raise the jack just enough to support the axle assembly. NOTE: If two floor jacks are available, place one at each end of the axle beam. Disconnect the lower end of the lateral rod from the axle assembly (Section 10). Disconnect the lower ends of both shock absorbers (Section 9). Remove the pivot bolts (see illustration) for the trailing arms and, with an assistant helping to balance the axle assembly, carefully lower the axle on the jack. The Eagle brand was discontinued in stages with the Eagle Talon being the last in 1998. One of the reasons that the Eagle brand did not survive even though there were plans to redesign the Eagle Vision is the merger of Chrysler and Daimler.
