A book full of useful information.Be aware that there are a lot of colour images in here showing the differences between different settings and although the text is also very descriptive it's useful to be able to look at the photos so if you have a Kindle that doesn't have colour (like mine) then the pdf might be also be useful. A fantastic and thorough guide far more user friendly than the manual - which is in my opinion extremely difficult to navigate.The users guide told you how to use them but not why you would use them. So I decided to buy this book. It does exactly what I was expecting it to do. It goes through all the different aspects and setting and explains when you would use them and why. It shows a sample photograph for each setting. I quite like photography but am not mad keen and so I thought this book is ideal for me. It may not be ideal for an experienced photographer as they would probably know a lot of this stuff already. ISO 1600 is OK for Web use, especially if the subject doesn't have much detail to begin with; things just get a little too soft and smeary and colors look slightly duller. That’s a good thing, of course, but this weight and a polarising glossy finish make it feel a tad cheap. But for first-time buyers, the P520 is a strong megazoom for those who don't care so much about having extra features they may never use. Nikon.
