I suppose this is because it is expected that one would go to a mechanic for some of the more involved repairs, but when you lose your job and your budget is incomprehensibly tight, you're left on your own. He did manage to figure out the issues with fewer details than a mechanic would access.It does provide a great overview of how your truck is put together and it will walk you through basic repairs well. But, if you're expecting this to be the absolute reference then you'll be disappointed. Publishers pretty much set the prices we have to sell our books at and we barely even marked up anything. This also goes for book buy back. Unless a professor is using the same book next semester, you're probably not going to get a ton of money back. We would rather buy the book from students than the publishers and if the bookstore was going to be buying it, you would get a decent amount back. If a professor was not going to use it, then the publisher might buy it back but it is usually less than what the bookstore would pay if it was going to be used again. So yeah, please don't blame the bookstore. Publishers are the ones to blame.
