B.Smith 5.0 out of 5 stars The part is faulty and I couldn't get the boat started. I cleaned the old part and installed it back in the boat and the boat started instantly. I am sending the part back for a full refund. Original review two stars: The product seems fine even though Amazon left in the rain. I have a covered porch and for some reason they put it behind my AC unit instead of walking it up to my covered porch. I think I would give the product a 4 star rating. The product requires splicing but it looks like it is an upgrade from the original equipment. This part is encased in plastic and the reason the old part failed is that it was completely exposed to the elements. The 2 star rating is because Amazon left the product in the rain. Will definitely be returning.http://www.bouwdata.net/evenement/boss-1600-recorder-manual Unfortunately will have to cancel our boat day tomorrow as well.
