I removed all of the filter bolts inside, but it did not seem to have enough clearance to remove the filter due to a metal tubing right below the filter. If I know for sure what this metal tubing is for and if I can apply enough force to get the filter out, I will try to do it, but I hate to cause any damage to the metal tube. My question is whether there is a peculiar way of extracting the transmission filter. If so, how is it to be done. I really want to replace the filter, but if it is not meant to be replaced, I just might have to install a new gasket and put'em all back together. Thanks for your time!
