If all is well fit a new impeller over the shaft and locate it on the key. Lower the housing over the shaft and wilst applying a downward pressure on the housing, rotate the shaft clockwise looking from above to locate the housing. Replace the bolts in the pump. Grease the splines on the Drive shaft and refit the lower unit. Probably have to rotate the drive shaft in steps to engage it in the powerhead. Always rotate the shaft clockwise. If you accidentally rotate anticlock the pump will have to be dismantled again. It did take me awhile to find a machinist that would touch the powerhead, he's in Florida. Anyway, he ended up sleeving one cylinder and boring the other cylinder. I haven't started the engine yet, still having some issues on how to static time the engine and adjust the throttle cables.
