There are some differences between the cameras, but it's better than having nothing and, until they bring something out for the new model, it's worth having. I've had nothing but SLRs (first film and then digital) for so long that this, my first Fuji, was a real step back in the past for me and I found this guide very useful to 'get my head round' a different kind of camera.
