My Vanquish did not come with a cd like indicated in the threads I read. Going to the Empire page of paintballsolutions.com didn't quite do it either. I did not find the program I was looking for. Vanquish Software Downloads Windows - Apple -.I then downloaded the new firmware file and followed the instructions from the instruction manual. Easy to do the update since I now had all the correct programs working. Now the instructions from the manual I got from paintballsolutions.com makes sense. Empire Vanquish Manual v2.0 (ENG) The new firmware has the dwell setting at 12ms. Seems to be inline with what the threads indicated worked well with the V16. I didn't study the settings before changing from the V214 to V215 so it might have already been there. Of course, I might have just missed something I was supposed to see on the paintballsolutions.com page. If that is the case, please post it up so it will be easy for others.I appreciate it. Fixed. Not sure why that happened. They worked when I checked them after posting. I added the Vanquish Ultimate Sticky page link. Fixed the Windows software link. Confirmed that the paintballsolutions.com link worked (for the latest Vanquish manual) I can change the values in the tool on my Mac. Here is the issue: After downloading the latest firmware v216 and using the UBS tool to update firmware it will not load into the Vanquish. Posted in Markers It is equipped with a handle for transport. On the outside, there is a cover with a zipper. The gun box opens in 2 via a side zipper (like the gun case of DYE). The air guide is composed of four external joints and 3 internal seals. This is the part that covers the bolt. D. The Back Cap is composed of three joints. BobAZ on November 01, 2014: After putting in a new transmission, I get both speed while holding the back wheels off the ground. But when I let the wheels down onto the ground, it will not move forward. The wheels are not driven with enough force to move the mower. I have adjusted the drive cable from one end to the other and it makes no differecnce. What could be going on. Try using a pair of cutting pliers to grab the spring, don't worry, the spring is harden steel and will not break. Let me know if his helps, thanks. Jay on May 23, 2014: Great article. You state after removing the belt the spring is easy to remove. Really? I've removed the belt but still can't get the spring removed. Any ideas? Eddie Carrara (author) from New Hampshire on February 19, 2014: Hi Phil, Yes, I had made a few adjustments over the years, but after a while, adjusting the cable was no longer working, that's when I figured out what was happening. Thanks for the feed Phil. Phil on February 19, 2014: I had the same problem. I noticed that there was an adjustment of the cable at the lever on the handle. By adjusting it I was able to tighten the cable and get the wheels engaging properly. Let me know if this helps Bob, thanks. BobAZ on January 29, 2014: Eddie, I opened up my original transmission and found that the gear that attaches to the vertical rod (which the pulley goes on) has broken into three pieces. When I go to clean the grease off, is there a solvent better than gasoline that I can use. I don't know of anything common that would cause that condition except a broken or disconnected cable. Let me know what you find Bob, and sorry I can't help you out any more that I have. But that transmission was the original and is now in the box that the other one came in. I don't know what happened to it as it worked in one gear only when I took it back to the dealer. Then they informed me that it would not work at all. Took it back and then they said that it would not self-propel at all. They gave me my money back, but I now have a lawnmower without self-propel. Would like to fix it by either fixing one or both of the transmissions or put the two together to get one good transmission. Any suggestions? Thanks. Eddie Carrara (author) from New Hampshire on June 04, 2013: Hey Justin, I'm not absolutely certain what's causing the problem, but if the self propel worked before the spring let go, I would say most likely that's your problem. I know that spring is super heavy duty, so if you do replace it with one from the hardware store, make sure it's comparable. Doesn't quite solve my problem, though. I have a HRB215SXA Honda Harmony II with self-propel drive, looks identical to yours. My problem is that the belt keeps slipping off the pulley on the transmission, as soon as I engage the clutch. The belt tensioning spring fell off, and I replaced it with one from the hardware store. I don't get why the tensioner pulls the pulley out of alignment anyway.seems like a stupid design. Any ideas on what else might be the problem? Thanks. I understand the shaft is worn where the bearing rides, but I would like a visual. Let me know if that's possible, if not maybe we can figure something out, thanks Frank.I checked on Honda's website a it looks like there are no internal parts available for the 2 speed trany. I have the necessary tools to press out the bearing but again the pinion shaft, having some excessive wear, on the bearing surface is not available as a part. The rest of the transmission is mint so I am hoping to repair rather than replace the entire transmission. There are more videos and articles about this problem that I have written, I even made a video on how to remove the transmission. The links to these articles and videos are right above the comment box on this page. I had another guy ( Paul ) who had a problem with his transmission, and with my help he was able to remove it and make a video about it, so I put that in my article as well, his problem was slightly different, so I wanted to share his problem and get as much info out there as possible because there are so many different models. If you attempt to fix your Honda mower, video your repair and I can use it in my article as well (If you want). I have the same problem with my Honda (it's called HRB536 here in Europe), so I will try this out tomorrow. Just want to ask, do you recommend opening the transmission to replace the grease even if the problem seems to be the lever. Is it worth the extra work, or is it risky, considering I have to put all the parts inside together again.
