Chris.As to the Digitech pieces, of late I have not used them much, but back in the 80's they worked well, the legend was set up MIDI to control the Alesis via the foot controller. That said, I have started using the Pro in a small rack unit that has it has it's own foot controller also and now intend to alter various distortion parameters to try and get some smoother sounds, as the preset distortions can be rather harse.
