A simple flip out stand would be a big help. Plugging in a cord jack makes it very awkward to position. That being said the idea of putting a groove on the back of the thing so you can insert a credit, business or playing card to lean it against is both odd and better than nothing. Will have to see how long it holds up but I am very happy with it and I will use the instrument store again. I just turned it on 11 years later, 5 years after I last used it. The battery is still good.I really like the CA-30 and have had nothing but good luck with them. My Son's guitar teacher uses them too, so he is familiar with them. Simple, easy to use and accurate. Here is the method that I've developed over the past few years. All others will tune to this one. Once the chanter is well set, tune the drones of the master bagpipe. by EAR. Make sure the drones are perfectly in tune with Low A. This does not mean that B-flat is 440 Hz, but rather that the B-flat is relative to an A of 440 Hz.
