killion extruder manualIn times of increasing energy efficiency such losses are a major concern for the industry. Product quality, which depends on the homogeneity and stability of the melt flow which in turn depends on melt temperature and screw speed, is also an issue of concern of processors. Gear pumps can be used to improve the stability of the production line, but the cost is usually high. Likewise it is possible to introduce energy meters but they also add to the capital cost of the machine. Advanced control incorporating soft sensing capabilities offers opportunities to this industry to improve both quality and energy efficiency. In this paper, new real-time energy monitoring methods have been introduced without the need to install power meters or develop data-driven models. The effects of process settings on energy efficiency and melt quality are then studied based on developed monitoring methods. Process variables include barrel heating temperature, water cooling temperature, and screw speed. Finally, a fuzzy logic controller is developed for a single screw extruder to achieve high melt quality. The resultant performance of the developed controller has shown it to be a satisfactory alternative to the expensive gear pump. Energy efficiency of the extruder can further be achieved by optimising the temperature settings. Experimental results from open-loop control and fuzzy control on a Killion 25 mm single screw extruder are presented to confirm the efficacy of the proposed approach. Published by Elsevier Ltd. This time Rico will open it up for you. Notice an ammo refill crate just straight ahead to your right. Go through the door and you will get a cut scene. Replenish your ammo as often as needed and use cover. Slowly pick them off and make your way down the stairs. You can safely make your way through the floor by using cover as much as possible and taking them out. As you get more of them dead and clear the bottom area of them make your way right to a set of stairs. There are more up there waiting for you. If you are having trouble getting them safely you can go up the set of stairs on the left of the area, there are Helghast up there as well but it offers some cover to pick off the ones on the other side without going all kamikaze. After killing the Helghast on this part one of them had a VC9 Rocket Launcher. Pick it up because this might help as well. If you went to the right side and went up the stairs, after killing them all up there, you’ll find an ammo refill crate to your right. Also up here there are two mini turrets that you can play with, go up to them and press O to operate them. Later in the game you will come across some that you can rip off and carry. Once you go up the stairs on either side you turn to the opposite side that you went up, so if you went up the left you would turn right and vice versa. Go down that walkway and either right in front of or to your left, depending what way you went up is a shiny looking valve. Go up to it and press O to operate. This controls differently than just pressing O. You have to hold R1 or L1 and rotate the controller to the left and then release them and turn the controller to the right. Rinse and repeat until the gate is open. For me it took approximately four turns. If you haven’t done so already, go refill your ammo since it is behind you and to your left if you just got done turning the valve. When you are through the open gate you’ll notice two tanks waiting outside. Here you get a new objective, “Escort Detachment back to Highway.” Go past them and you will notice a big gaping hole in the middle of the road. Don’t go in the hole or you will die, instead of that go to your left to the hole in the side of the building. Once inside the hole of the building go straight and turn left. Follow Rico down the hallway and jump off the ledge. Go straight from there and make a slight right to see Rico standing next to a high ledge. Go up to him and press O to get a boost to the ledge. Once there you will enter another cut scene. In this one, the Helghast are gathering some green radioactive energy. Kill the Helghast by using the mini gun located just up ahead. There are some up on the two ledges one straight ahead of you and one to the right, also there are some on the ground running towards Rico and the other ISA soldiers. You always can stand where you started and pick them off that way too, when they are all dead, pick up the mini gun by going up to it and pressing triangle. You will get prompted on how to switch to heavy weapons by pressing left on the D-Pad. After that you will get an objective, “Clear the Museum.” Anyways, press forward going through the door and make a left. To your right is another mini gun you could take if you are running low on bullets. To refill them though you can place them back on the turret and take them off again or find an ammo refill crate. After it explodes go into the doorway there in the building. There are Helghast everywhere in here so be careful. They are on the balconies to your left and straight ahead of you. Also eliminate the ones on the ground floor. If you do die Rico will attempt to revive you. If he dies you can revive him by pressing O. Once the balconies and ground floor are clear, you can go picking up new guns. This time around some of the Helghast are carrying the StA11 SMG. There are also rooms to explore. One on each side of the room. The one on the left has grenades in it. The one on the right has two StA52 Assault Rifles in it. Proceed to the green area by the room on the left. Rico will lead the way. Through the door there is a set of stairs to your right. Now you will get prompted to “Eliminate the Rooftop Threat.” Inside the hallway, make your way straight and turn right at the end of the hall to see a doorway. There will be another set of stairs there. Walk up the stairs and you’ll end up on the rooftop. There is a wave of Helghast waiting for you. There is an ammo refill crate straight ahead of you, next to the ledge. Take the Helghast out including the two with rocket launchers and then a Helghast ship will come down bringing more for you to kill. You can eliminate this threat by taking out the ship. Use a VC9 rocket launcher on it or if you still have the mini gun shoot it down. It has an outline of a charge on it, walk up to it and press O. This time hold R1 and turn the controller to the fully to the left and then fully to the right to light up all four dots on the charge to arm it. Press O again to plant it, and then you have a trigger in your hand to set it off. Walk a fair distance away and press R1 to trigger it, this makes the door explode so you can go through. There will be more Helghast coming for you when you trigger the door. Quickly eliminate this threat to continue on your way. Go through the hole you just made you will run into a few more enemies. Going right over the pile of rubble there is an ammo refill crate to your left. You will get prompted to either shoot it with R1 or melee it with L1 to open it up. Go through the door, and straight down the hall, you will then get another objective, “Rejoin with Narville.” Now go through the other door. Now there is another steel plate in front of the door leading to Narville. Shoot it and then jump off the ledge to get to the lower area of the room. Walk through the door, and into the next room you will find two different doorways. Both lead to the same place, out of the building. Once outside go to your left and walk towards the door to enter a cut scene. In this scene you rejoin with Captain Narville. He then tells you that he is going to use the EXO to clear the way over the bridge. Then walk straight forward and watch a Helghan Spider Tank take on one of your ISA EXOs. After it has run off, take out the Helghast on the left of the screen. You may have to run closer or use your zoom to get them but it’s a must to eliminate them so they don’t flank you and kill you later. Then after a bit of going forward you get yet another objective, “Eliminate the RPG Threat.” There are a lot of the scattered so don’t be too careless when approaching it. If Rico dies go to him and press O to revive him. He will do the same for you so stick close to each other. There is a VC9 Rocket Launcher here as well. Walk straight from here and yet again to your left is another ammo refill crate. You will need it taking out these Helghast. There also is a VC9 Rocket Launcher in the truck that is right behind the ammo crate. Keep pushing forward and killing Helghast as you go. After a bit and when you have killed them all you end up at the end of the bridge. Here you will enter a cut scene. In this scene, Captain Narville instructs you that the ISA cruisers are tracking more than twelve Helghast battleships. He then tells you to get into HAMR and punch a hole back to the EVAC crater which is across the river. The admiral then calls out to his troops to double their efforts and kill all ISA within the hour. You start off in a HAMR and are given an objective, “Find a route off the Beach.” Now you are being driven to a certain location while operating a turret gun. R1 will fire the primary gun and L1 will fire a heavy explosive shot. If you hold down R1 too long it will over heat and you will have to wait a bit for it to cool down to use it again. You can press L1 as many times as you want because it has no overheat mechanism that will slow it down. You can also zoom with this gun as well. Press R3 to zoom. After a bit of moving there is another set on the left, and on your right. Now there is more as you proceed down the road. They are on your left on the ground and on the ledges. Now you will have to destroy two ships and two mini guns to move on. The next set of them is on your right up by the building and near you by the road. After that you will be chased by Helghast APCs. You will have a tank on your right and then straight ahead of you and waves of Helghast on your left and right. Up ahead there is more, straight up ahead and another tank to destroy. Now there is one last wave of them surrounding you with yet one more tank. Take out these and you will roll forward into a cut scene. Sev and Rico stop the HAMRs and jump out to give the pathfinder assistance. This time you move forward on foot. Captain Narville tells Gutmann that they need to take out the Arc cannon, but you are under heavy fire from enemy machine guns. Sev takes initiative and sees an opportunity to get to higher ground and take out the machine guns alone. After you are up the flight of stairs, turn immediately left and use L1 to melee the door to break the wood on it and move forward. Go forward from there, and go through another doorway to see a second door blocked by wood. Move forward and go over the broken floor to get to the third door blocked by wood. After pressing L1 to break the wood go through that door you will end up at the machine gun. There is a Helghast shooting it so kill him and then walk up to the machine gun and press O to operate it. When they are all dead press O again to get off of the machine gun and get to the door to your left. Then just run down the list of trophies for that map until you have them all, and then move on to the next. Alternatively, you can get these in ranked games if you want, but it isn't necessary. Once you finish this step you should have only two trophies remaining. To set up the custom matches for all of the trophies in this step, select Warzone from the main menu. Then select Play, followed by Create Game. From here, scroll down to one of the games marked with an icon that looks like a piece of paper with a corner folded next to them. If it's filled in, you have custom match settings saved there and can press to edit them. If it's empty, you can press to start creating a new custom match. You cannot get these playing unranked matches, so that means you will have to play ranked matches against other people (adding bots to a match automatically makes it unranked). You can try to find a game in progress that is using these maps and join it, or create your own game and wait for people to join. From there it's just a matter of playing as best you can and hoping you dominate the other team. Alternatively, you can boost. The first way to boost is to create a custom game that only has room for two players with no faction balancing, and all the game modes set to the minimum amount of time and objectives before they end. Get in your room and have your partner join, and make sure both of you are on the same team and launch the game. With no one on the other team you can easily win all of the game types except for Body Count, which will end in a draw. The second is to try getting multiple people together and have a large boosting room. Add a password to keep randoms out. The third is to create a clan for yourself and have your boosting partner(s) join this clan as well. Then create a match that does allow spectators and does not have a password, but also only allows members of your clan to join it. Thanks to Terminator and VanDeaM for detailing this method.
