The gun does spit sometimes when it gets bad just have to strip the gun and do a through cleaning then it would work fine. This model is obsolete now it still gets the job done. It isnt the strongest pump or the most stable but it gets it done.I can't believe how much it shortens the task.I had a X7 sprayer and this is a nice upgrade. The gun and tip that come with it are a good quality. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS for care and maintenance and follow it!!!! Not following instructions and poor cleaning practices is why these things can fail. Know your machine and it will serve you well.So far, I have sprayed 12 gallons of Behr Ultra Latex using a Graco RAC X 515 tip (sold the RAC IV guard and tip which came with it) on a finished basement and garage and it has been great. This sprayer is very easy to use and maintain. No need to thin the latex paint, just strain it and spray it. With only 12 gallons of paint through the spayer I can't comment on the longevity of the machine, but it does a great job of spraying paint. The spray gun is a very nice gun with a full size trigger (using four fingers to pull the trigger), while some may like a shorter trigger (two finger) for better control. I am glad I purchase this sprayer, as I find it a very good value for the money. The 1922 is the same as the 1910 except for the extension on the front of the slide. The bushing came right off. I tried the same thing with my 1910, gripping the knurled bushing sticking out from the slide surrounding the barrel. It turned a little but I was unable to make it go far enough. I think the 1910 has a lug type bushing, same as the 1922. Maybe I just need to put some penetrating oil on it first to loosen it up. I am stumped for now. I did notice two small slots opposite each other on the bushing. Can anyone here at THR help.
