He had just uncalibrated about 100 thermostats in his building and was suffering the consequense of that action. The needle frequently plug up because they cut into the rubber calibration port and that small rubber plugs up the air passage which can and will lead to misreading expecially if someone does it fast. I never use the needle for this reason. Blow yours out and I'll bet you find small pieces of rubber.He called me and before I did any work I asked him if he purchase the calibration kit and used the needle adaptor. He did.
