Miss Benz 5.0 out of 5 stars The picture is very SHARP and clear and so are the colors and is very easy to work with instant success. I would buy it again, and again, and again.I had never heard of this brand and after owning a Sony and Samsung, I was very skeptical of this one. However, I am extremely happy with this TV. The color is absolutely fantastic. And the TV has lasted longer than my old Samsung, which was three times the cost of this TV but only lasted about a year before the picture just gave out. I was told it was a connection problem and would cost almost as much as the TV to repair. It has so far proven to be more dependable than my last TV. I also find it easy to toggle through settings and even though my friend didn't leave me the manual, I have been able to figure out how to adjust the picture and other settings for various uses. Has several HDMI ports in the back and I especially love that it turns itself off after a certain time of inactivity. It's great if you fall asleep on the couch. No complaints and a really great deal at the listed Amazon prices.Insignia NO HELP Nearly 6 months with perfect picture and sound quality. 4 days before the 6 month mark and the picture quits working. I call insignia for help, 1) the guy was rude and condescending while trying to fix my tv, 2) after their turn it on and off tricks didn't work I was informed i would have to bring this TV in to Best Buy for repair as no other options were available for this size tv. I even asked about how to get a repairman out to my apartment to fix the tv. In so many words i was told tough luck because thats not how we do it. I live in NYC and am very small. I ordered this online to avoid having to carry a TV the same size as me across the city. I will NEVER buy another Insignia product EVER. And I'll think twice before buying a product from Best Buy because apparently it will break in less that 6 months and the only way to get it repaired is to lug is back to their store. I would NEVER recommend this brand or tv to ANYONE. Unless you like carrying a near new tv halfway across the city to hopefully get it fixed by the geek squad. It is definitely not light and feels like it's made of quality materials. Check your internet connectivity by connecting another device to your internet. If your other device fails to connect, contact your internet providers to check for outages in your area. Consider switching to a more reliable provider. The Insignia TV requires a lot of data in order to stream channels and your Wifi may not support this need. Try adjusting your Wifi settings to allow more data to be used. Consider upgrading to unlimited data. You can also plug the computer directly into an ethernet source, by using one of the USB ports on the back of the tv, and a USB to ethernet converter. If no image can be seen, there could be two things that might need to be replaced: either the lamp or the Light Sensor. If an image can be seen, the lighting element in the screen has gone out. Since Insignia Televisions are a self contained unit and most small parts cannot be replaced, this problem would require the entire screen to be replaced. Replacing your television, however, would be less expensive than replacing just the screen. To resolve this, press the star button on the Roku remote and scroll to picture size using the up and down arrows. Select picture size and then choose a new size. Choose a larger size if the picture is too small. Choose a smaller size if the picture is too large. To perform a power reset, unplug the set from the outlet. Then proceed to hold down the power button for one minute. Release the power button, plug the TV back into the outlet, and attempt to power on. If the TV turns on, it is likely that a power supply replacement may become necessary in the near future. If the TV does not turn on, the issue is with either the power supply or a fault on the motherboard itself. Then, disconnect all of the HDMI cables from both ends and reconnect them. Lastly, plug in all of the connected devices to the power. Give them about 30 seconds to boot up before plugging in the TV. To fix this, double check the Resolution settings by right-clicking the desktop, and selecting “Screen Resolution.” The ideal resolution for every computer is different. To change the resolution settings of your computer display, go to settings, display, advanced display settings (if you cannot currently see a setting for the resolution) and change the resolution to best fit the TV. Play around with different resolution settings, until you find the one that looks the best on your TV.
