The power supply may become hot during operation. Make sure the power supply cools down before handling. Let’s take a look at some of the most common errors and how to fix them easily. The “no breath” error typically occurs when your device hasn’t detected a breath for a certain period of time, so if you’ve been using it, you should check to make sure there are no kinks in the cannula tubing and that the cannula is connected to the concentrator. Although you can position the nasal cannula prongs up or down in the nose, they should be facing down in order to have the best results and to ensure that oxygen is sent directly into the nasal canal. This happens in a five step process: Although this could be a complex issue with the device, you should try turning it off and on again to see if the error message goes away. If it is, you should use another electrical device to try the outlet and make sure it’s working. And if it does, there may be a problem with your charging cable or the battery in your device. You can also try taking the battery pack off of your concentrator and putting it back on and checking to ensure it isn’t loose. Breathing clean air is crucial to preventing COPD exacerbations but if your device becomes clogged with airborne particles or the sieve bed quits working, you may get a purity error. Sieve beds generally last a year or so but, amount of use, proper storage and humidity present can reduce its life expectancy. While this means you have access to a high-tech oxygen therapy device wherever you need it, you may find it difficult to get the information you need to maintain your device and fix errors. To confirm this is the issue, either breathe with the cannula or place the device in satellite mode for 1 to 2 seconds and then return the flow control back to the original setting. After a few minutes, the O2 alert should clear. If this error continues to occur, please contact OxygenToGo Customer Care for further instruction. Even if the user connects the power plug at this time, further action is required.The user should remove the battery and reinstall it (first shut the unit down or power it using the AC power supply). If this error regularly occurs, please contact OxygenToGo Customer Care for further instruction. A battery error will prevent the battery from powering the concentrator. If the battery is just below this temperature, the user will receive the Battery HOT Warning on the display, along with an audible warning. This warning is simply intended to alert the patient that continued use of the battery may result in system shutdown if the battery temperature continues to increase. Note that the temperature of the concentrator and battery will be higher when used at higher flow settings. Suggestions for reducing the battery temperature are provided in the Patient Manual. If the battery has recently been discharged in a concentrator, depending on environmental conditions, it may exceed this temperature and must cool down prior to charging. To expedite cooling, the user may run the unit on AC power, remove the battery for 10 minutes, or replace the battery with a cool battery, if desired. If the battery is left in the concentrator, the alert will continue to appear until the battery cools sufficiently to begin the charging sequence. The user should remove the battery and reinstall it (first shut the unit down or power it using the AC power supply). If this error regularly occurs, please contact OxygenToGo Customer Care for further instruction. The battery will continue to power the concentrator if it is the sole source of power, but the concentrator will not be able to track the remaining charge on the battery. If AC power is used, the battery will not charge with a comm error showing. Remove the battery and reinsert in the concentrator. If the error regularly occurs, please contact OxygenToGo Customer Care for further instruction. When this happens, the concentrator is shut down. An Error 4 message is usually due to a low pressure condition. This may be caused by placing the concentrator in the Satellite setting without connecting a Satellite Conserver, or by having a leak in the tubing to the Satellite Conserver. This situation will allow the product gas to leak from the system, thereby reducing the internal pressure. If the user is sure that such a leak did not occur, then there may be a problem with the concentrator and it may need to be returned for troubleshooting. When this happens, the concentrator shuts down. An oxygen concentration this low may be caused by placing the concentrator in the “Satellite” setting without connecting a Satellite Conserver, or by having a leak in the tubing, allowing the product gas to leak from the system and thereby reducing the oxygen concentration. If the user is certain that such a leak did not occur, there may be a problem with the concentrator and it may need to be returned for troubleshooting. While it is unlikely that the system will become this hot, the risk of this situation can be minimized by operating the unit in a comfortable environment and ensuring the intake and exhaust are clear of obstructions. The intake particulate filter should be kept clean, and there should be no filter in the exhaust vent. If this error regularly occurs, please contact OxygenToGo Customer Care for further instruction. Room air contains approximately 21 percent oxygen and 79 percent nitrogen. By passing the air through a series of molecular, bacterial and dust filters, EverGo removes nitrogen and stores nearly pure (therapeutic) oxygen. See the chart below. An overnight pulse oximetry test may be necessary to measure your oxygen saturation level while using EverGo at night. The device works with cannula tubing up to 30 ft. (9.1 m). The touch screen is a backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) located on the top of EverGo. Myabe it likes PC's better but frankly I have had enough and am sending it back. Spend more and get a product that works.I have no problems backing up 600 photos, 950 mb in 8.5 minutes, from a 2 gb SD card. But since I've read some negative reviews on this Inoi card reader drive, I ran some tests on it. First, I backed up 1.3 gb of data in 750 folders, 5000 files, from my 4 gb sd card, to my computer, then I tried to copy the card to the HD182. After 4 minutes it stopped. I found that it copied only part of one subdirectory and stopped at 350 mb. Not all files in that directory were copied. I suspected that the HD182 cannot handle so many folders and subdirectories. Then I deleted some directories from the computer, and copied the backup to a blank 2 gb SD card so I can copy it again to the HD182. But as I was coping the 4gb backup to the 2 gb SD, the computer saids some files are corrupted and gave errors during the coping process. I do not have problems copying photos straightly from a digital camera SD card at all. So, IMHO, this is a very practical photo backup drive. It is very small, and self-contained, plus you can replace the battery if you are on a long trip when recharging the battery is not an option. Granted, the 20 gb hard disk is not much in today's standard, but I think you can replace it too (I haven't tried.) It is perfect for travelers to back up photo memory cards, but if you like to back up computer files too, you have to make sure none of the files are corrupted.I downloaded a couple of images, and could see them on the PC, but was not clear on whether I should be able to see them on the device. The manual did not address this. I was also not clear if I could view the images on the device or whether I had to use the computer.
