It may not display this or other websites correctly. You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. Anyone got a copy of the instructions - in English - that I could cadge. The other wierd thing is the ambient temp reading seems to be much higher (10K) than actual ambient. Seems to be due to the case heating up after switching on! Cheers And they refer to pictures in the German booklet. I tried to post a direct link but it doesn't work. You can download it yourself from German shop site. That should do the trick. The temp sensor is located at the back of the IMO, the round bit sticking out. Depending on where you mount the box, it will heat up. I had that problem on my GS too, so I took the sensor out and put it under the beak. Now the readings are more accurate, but still not very. Here's how I did that. Cheers, Michel One thing that puzzles me. Turning it off fixes it until it happens aagin. Any ideas? Cheers If you can't get it figured out, post a question on the Touratech support forum. They are very helpful and posting in English is no problem. Good luck, Michel I've had er, several IMO 300's. The bad news is that they only seem to last one yearish before going wrong. I now have two which i rotate while the other's being repaired. I am afraid they are quite temperamental - I have the remote buttons and from turning the ignition on it will often only go up or down the screens, rarely both and sometimes neither, but it seems to sort itself out in a minute or two.http://ardut.asso.fr/daikin-air-conditioner-vrv-manual.xml

The last one went completely blank while riding then came back on again (or didnt). This was a new one for me so i swapped it out. Water also gets in easily and mists things up. I siliconed the screen last time. The speedo sensor gap is also quite sensitive but its never (so far) stopped working (unless the magnet falls off) - its now epoxied on the disk. Apart from that its a great toy and provides hours of amusement. Enjoy! If you can't get it figured out, post a question on the Touratech support forum. They are very helpful and posting in English is no problem. Good luck, Michel Click to expand. But they seem pretty helpful overall. Generally you get quick answers to technical questions. I see you're getting a reasonable quote to repair the faulty IMO. Cheers, Michel. To start viewing messages,Mine reads out only half the speed it should in kmh. It's the only instrument on the bike so have to multiply everything by 2 then divide by 0.6 to get my speed! Tried various remedies in manual but no luck - such as decreasing distance between sensor and magnet and re-checking calibration.Cheers, MichelDo you know if it can be changed from the german to english although I assume it's a software thing and would need returning to TT. Many thanks Michel, you're a star.Mine is an English one, so maybe yours can't be set to miles. On mine it's in the settings sequence, press and hold E and then you get a series of screens. In one of those I can change from miles to km or vice versa. Cheers, MichelYou can get the software changed but I can understand it anyway and the German one has more functions too. That forum is pretty helpful. Looks like they sorted your sensor problem very quickly. Thanks for the help.Maybe they have updated the English firmware by now, I don't know.I have the German version and I like that temperature pop-up function. Kind of a set-and-forget ting. The 0 - 100 (adjustable speeds) function is utter useless. I like that German by the way, suits the bike.http://englandmatchshirts.com/assets/daikin-air-conditioner-manual-ducted.xml It'll all keep me occupied when I head off to Nepal.Wicklow March 27th March - 29th March 2015 Donegal Friday 30th - Sunday 1st April 2007 (Pre event planning) These objects may not be copied forYour use of. They can be used instead of the original speedometer drive. Essentially, these units contain a Hall effect sensor.http://www.caslyn.co.za/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1629dbd9ede1e0---Credit-union-merger-manual.pdf The sensor generates an electrical signal; the frequency of this signal is a function of speed. This signal can then be processed further with an electronic speedometer. I have developed the level shifter PS-A presented here. If a specific speedometer model is not listed, this simply means that it has not been tested yet. This list is updated with feedback from the community, i.e. your feedback. You will need to send me the speedo in question for a few days so. I can develop and test the circuit with that specific speedo unit. I can eventually provide a test circuit that emulates the signal of the transducer at two different speeds upon request. If you are interested (especially as speedometer manufacturer), please get in touch with me.Please keep in mind that: This is not plug-and-play - it is definitively required that the user operates his brain during installation! If in doubt, please look up the data sheet of your speedometer before installing the PS-A. If someone has a better alternative to soldering that is easy to use on as many motorcycles as possible and that takes not much more space than a solder connection, bring it on;-) A special type PS-A-5 is available where the HI-level is limited to ca. 5 V; other versions are available upon request. The circuit is active as soon and as long as the supply voltage is applied and can operate down to approx. 8 V. They light up with the rhythm of the signal; one of the two LEDs is always lit. All data were obtained experimentally However, since I can not guarantee that the sensor will be made with the same specifications in the future. I cannot guarantee that the PS-A will work with future versions. Thank you for your understanding. Thank you for visiting my pages!
