I dont think this one will cut it As for the memory speeds, that depends on the CPU, not the board. The 248 are able to take PC-3200 REG-ECC as far as I know. That's the 4 pin header next to the AGP slot. And you MUST connect the JPWR1 to power the CPU's, as that connector provides the power to the CPU's. Check the manual on how to connect that one if your PSU doesn't have the 8 pin molex but just the 4 pin. Thennn nothing! and now i cant get it to power up at all with no drives.Start with the floppy, see if it starts. There should be only standoff's between the case and the board where there are holes to match it, ergo where you can put a screw in. Other people have posted with a similar problem with this board getting any brand ram to run if these settings are too far off. I don't know what these values should be; however, I did find some values after a bit of googling over at an overclockers site. Another possibility is you somehow managed to get one of the 100,000 or so bad memory controllers cpu's that were released by Amd (including some of you're exact model) that weren't recalled quickly enough, in which case you'll need to Rma the cpu. Dual channel mode is a funtion of the memory controller and the mother board not the ram.I thought I did notice a pin missing on the processor before installing it but I didn't think much of it since it worked but maybe thats the reason why it won't run dual channel.
