Anyway, when moving around axis's in manual mode, things seem fine, and 'home' mode goes back and lites come on; but when we run the practice program, the 'home' zero moves around on us(sometimes quite drastically). Repeated resetting of 'home' zero thru prameter 1815 has not got it to 'stay put'. Of course the Fanuc manuals take you just so far, and then refer you to your 'machine tool builder', NEAT!!! Basically, if you already have a 1 in there then you change it to a zero, turn off control, turn back on, go back to the 1815 parameter and change it back to a 1 but then you must power it back off and on again or it will not take the change and hense the change you think you have made did not take and so the machine still has a bad ref position.
