She tried to install The Sims 2 on Windows 8 (with the same set of files as yours), but when she installed some of the expansions, the setups crashed, and everytime she runs the game,some pop-up messages will appear notifying her that some of the games have been un-installed. And the installation files inside these expansions become obselete (that cannot be un-installed with the un-install wizard). I hosted a Teamviewer session with her, trying to fix the problem. This time the setup finished extracting and moving the files without an issue, but when the game was loading a family, the game crashed.
