Remove the center mounting bolt to the mirror assembly. Use a ratchet with a deep socket. Next, move to the outside of the door. Another retaining clip on the mirror assembly is in the front of the sail of the mirror. Use the trim tool again, but place a cloth underneath the angled head of the tool. This will prevent you from scratching the paint on the window trim. Be ready to catch the mirror so it doesn't fall and scratch the paint on the door. Gently pry the mirror off the door panel. There is a rubber gasket beneath the mirror and it tends to stick to the door and the mirror. Be careful not to damage the gasket if you're replacing the mirror. Now T20 is actually stripped and not even really doing anything anymore. We don't really have to worry about that, but we'll remove this 10mm bolt. Then pull your mirror up and through the door. Take your new mirror, slide the cables back through the door, and then just push the mirror back into place and replace that 10mm bolt. Then take that grommet, slide it back over the cables, and push it back into place. Take your door panel and feed the door handle through the panel. Then push the top of the door panel back down into the window sill. Once you have it lined up and back in place, take your door handle, push it in, and just slide it forward. Then re-clip this triangular panel, slide this bezel back into place, and push it in. We'll fast-forward as Mike replaces all of those bolts and tightens them up. Replace that screw cover, and then just take that panel for your pull handle and slide the top in first. Then clip in the bottom. However, if it absorbs too much glaze, the piece can be too thick and actually fall apart. Additionally, firing at cone 010 leads to a piece that is weaker. Therefore, you should chose a cone based on the type of glaze you’re using as well as the type of project you’re creating. Unless a glaze looks better fired fast, slow down the process to ensure your pieces don’t become damaged by the quickly rising temperatures. If you don’t have a venting system, prop your kiln lid open a few inches with a kiln brick or similar item during the first few hours of firing. If your kiln has an upper peep hole, leave this unplugged during this time as well. Don’t open or touch it until it is fully cooled to avoid injury or thermal shock that could endanger your work and kiln elements. Unloading the kiln should only take place when your pieces can be easily touched by hand. However, some glazes look better after a slow firing, so you’ll want to experiment. However, many artists find that firing low-fire pieces at the same cone as they glaze them works well. Cone 06 is a good choice a typical glaze firing, though of course what will work best depends on the project, glaze type, and kiln. To tell if a pot is dry enough to skip the candling put it against your cheek, if it feels cool then it's still damp. Compare how it feels to a pot that you have had sitting around drying for ages.For bisque, reset the timer to 12 hours if you have one, then all switches on low for 3-4 hours, then med for 3-4 hours then high until the cone bends.
