franchi 48 al 12 gauge owner s manualI've tried Fanchi's website and google and haven't had any luck.One thing to be sure of: The recoil ring. It has a bevel on the inside of one side. Put this bevel toward the bronze sleeve for high powered loads. Turn it around for low powered loads. Some 48s will cycle low base with the bevel toward the bronze sleeve. I always turn mine around. That way I can be sure that high bases shells won't destroy my action and low base loads will cycle.Took almost a month to get it, though. Don't expect much in the way of detail, however, it's very basic.Can't seem to find it.The manual was printed by American arms, so the part numbers will not be Benelli's current system. Also, it is for the model with the Franchokes, not the Mobil's. Does anybody Here's the complete tear down for the Franchi AL48. The manual is useless, and searching the net revealed no info, except for Browning A5's. It's a similar system to the A5 from what I gather, but not exactly the same.Is it malfunctioning. If so, first, tear it down and clean the magazine tube and spring with Birchwood Casey or something similar and don't oil it afterwards. It says to keep the magazine tube dry and not lubricate. It will cause build-up and the recoil operated action will be hindered by the sludge.
