Keep in mind that they assume that you have a Poncho that will take care of the shelter, or other reasons mentioned in the book. This was developed for Troops that served a while back, but the info is still good today with some reasonable common sense.The plant pictures have something to be desired as detail is very important with plants.However, if you are smart and care for actually having a book that you can always read on you besides having it on our iPad or Computer. The old manual was packed full of useful tidbits and knowledge. This is just a bunch of bullet point lists. Like it was the notes that went along with some power point.
