OPTIMAX HE 31 C is a high-efficiency condensing pre-mix appliance for heating and hot water pro- duction with extremely low emissions, running on natural gas or LPG. Controlled by the room thermostat, the boiler lights and heats the system water to the system delivery setpoint temperature. The burner shuts down when the desired temperature in the room is reached. The installation room must be sufficiently well ventilated to prevent any dangerous condi- tions from forming in the event of even slight gas leakage. For good operation and long life of the boiler, the plumbing system must be well proportioned and always complete with all those accessories that guarantee regular operation and running, room thermostat, trv’s etc. Cold water inlet valve Double check valve Blanking cap Removable connection Blanking plug Isolation valve. My boiler has been fine for the last 5 years, just recently it has started playing up. When calling for hot water it doesn't always fire up or sometimes it does and may stop. This is a fairly common problem and to be honest it would have been cheaper to replace it myself in view of the time I had to take off work. I have to say the engineer (who was a Ferroli employee, not an agent ) did a very thorough check on the boiler combustion and settings and pretty well serviced it in addition to changing the diverter.However, the heating has come on early. What can I do to stop heating coming on at odd times. I only want it to come on at time I selected. When it has been yearly serviced the plumbers never sort it out. I have a Ferroli Modena 80 E Combi that runs my DHW, Central Heating and my shower. I have always had to keep increasing the pressure by letting in water and this has got so regular now that I now opt to keep the pressure at over Bar 4 so it takes much longer to go below 0.5 bar and cut out. Sometimes you will have to wait up to 2 minutes for the software to set up again. Then press reset. NOTE: There may be an underlying problem which will require a repair to prevent a much more costly repair in the future. This is particularly true if you find yourself having to keep resetting the same ongoing fault. The divertor valve is constructed of plastic and therefore expands over time with heat so it sticks. A new diverter valve is probably required. They are quite steep though at about ?100 but you can probably call Ferroli and tell them and they should send an engineer round free of charge.
