I am reasonably capable of wiring but in this case called in a professional to rewire based on a photograph taken of the original wired entry phone. He could not do it either and fortunately didnt charge me for the hour of his wasted time. It looks nice on the wall but unusable. And that’s fine because it’s supposed to work with old intercom systems. It would be unfair to compare it with modern solutions. Some people have complained about the installation. First I took the cover off our old intercom unit, which was a Comelit. See image 1. 2. Fermax Loft 3399 comes with a wiring manual. See image 2. From the labels of the wires in the previous step, I figured out which wire goes where and which switch to set. 3. Once the wiring was done, I put the cover on and tested. That was all. See image 3.
