The core of this truly fantastic ventilation solution is a high performance rotary fan which is firmly integrated in the roof window and can be adjusted as required. Simply set the desired temperature on the remote control and the fan motor will start and stop automatically as the interior temperature of the vehicle exceeds or drops below the selected temperature level. FanTastic Vent works with the roof window slightly open to create a pleasant, draught-free air flow. Its simple reverse switch changes the fan direction, drawing air in or out of the vehicle. Alternatively, users can easily operate the dome by switch. For true comfort at your convenience, the Fantastic Vent has a built-in thermostat to take care of maintaining your desired temperature. The FanTastic Vent is a high-powered vent fan that solves both these issues and neither require the user's assistance. Firstly, a thermostat is used to maintain the desired temperatures in your vehicle. Then, in case of rain, the rain sensor will automatically close the dome when wet and reopen when the sensor dries.A built-in thermostat maintains your desired comfort level. FA7350 Model on label. Lowest Prices for the best rv vents and fans from Fantastic Vent.Easy-to-use hand knob on vent housing allows you to lift and lower dome. The fan can also be controlled manually with the built-in hand knob or with the controls on the vent housing. Ceiling Vent and Fan with Thermostat Air out your RV after cooking or just draw in some fresh air while you sleep. This variable-speed ceiling fan operates in 2 modes: manual and automatic. To use the fan, you must first manually open the dome by turning the hand knob. The dome must be left open while the fan is set in automatic mode. When using the automatic mode, you can preset the fan to maintain a desired temperature inside your RV.http://dyglas.com/userData/board/eltron-p420-service-manual.xml The thermostat dial shows a range of temperature settings that are color-coded from dark blue to dark red. The fan's internal thermostat will sense the actual room temperature, and the fan will run until the preset temperature is achieved. When the temperature rises above the preset temperature, the fan will automatically kick on again. So when you go out, you don't have to waste energy by leaving the vent running at full blast just to ensure that your RV is cool when you return. And because the fan will activate anytime that the preset temperature is reached, you can set up the system to ensure that your pets remain comfortable while you're out. To control the fan manually, turn the speed knob on the vent housing. There are 3 speeds: low, medium, and high. There is also an off position. To replace an old vent, install this vent into the existing opening. If your roof does not already have a vent, you will need to mark and cut an opening between roof joists to install this unit.Easy-to-use hand knob on vent housing allows you to lift and lower dome. Easy-to-use hand knob on vent housing allows you to lift and lower dome. Simple installation with 2-wire design. The 4-speed fan provides efficient airflow inside your RV. Ceiling fan mode circulates air when vent is closed. Had it with my last fan and hear other people complaining about the same issue. When you go down the road the screw that holds the crank handle vibrates loose and the crank handle and screw fall to the floor. I lost the screw on a long trip and had to stop at an rv dealer for a replacement. Sounds trivial but its a dumb little problem they need to fix.Even on the lowest setting it is pretty loud and my wife declared it to be too loud for our trailer. We ended up sending this one back and spending more on the remote controlled one with something like 11 speeds. It is much, much quieter on the lowest setting and is currently on our build.http://www.diamondsinthemaking.com/content/dell-precision-t5400-motherboard-manual I really loved the simplicity of this fan, but noise was a factor in our decision and this one is just a bit too loud. They have worked beautifully and saved us from the heat. The ventilation they create is great. I would recommend having two fans, one intake and one out take. I would buy them again.Highly recommend them. The price, quality and shipping speed from eTrailer is outstanding. Packing was perfect and as always from eTrailer, installation instructions were clear.Works great Very smooth operation and moves a good amount of air. I am very happy with the purchase. Installation was easy and it seems well made.I am very impressed with etrailer's service!! Thanks, I need as much time to get stuff done as possible!. IIt was delivered in just a few days. Great job!I will be replacing with a Maxxfan this summer. Nothing against this fan, just got a deal on the Maxxfan, which was my first choice.Quiet and cleans out smells after driving, very quickly. Happy, Happy, Happy! We use it as an 'attic fan' in milder weather or when cooling down the RV. It shuts itself off when the Colorado evenings cool quickly.I live in my camper full time so it is getting used regularly and I just can’t say enough good things about it. Installation was a snap. I actually did it up in the mountains. The night before, it rained hard all night and I experienced several leaks that night. Next morning I installed the new fan and of course stopped the leaks. I highly recommend it.The install went very smoothly. I like dealing with Etrailer.Just what we needed. Thanks for the fine service. The crew here take care of there COUSTOMERSIs There An Upgrade Kit for a Fan-Tastic Vent E-Z Breeze Model 600 Vent Fan I do have an option for you but there is not an upgrade kit for a Fan-Tastic Vent E-Z Breeze Model 600 Vent Fan. Unfortunately, you will need to use the new garnish ring but this is very easy to replace. The LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Self-Leveling Sealant part. This kit does include butyl tape, which you'll need, as well as sealant and screws. This kit will work for you no matter if your roof is metal or rubber. I have added a link to a video review of this kit for you to check out. If you'd care to see a product description video, click the provided link. It would pretty easily fit to replace yours but you'll need to find a 12 volt power source for it. We don't have access to wiring schematics but you'll need to find a way get 12 volts back to it through existing wiring. We don't have any install info specific to this vent available, but I did attach two videos that show similar roof vents being installed. One video shows a new install of a vent on a trailer that didn't have one before and the other shows a replacement video. These will work well as guides for the install of the Fan-Tastic. Not all vents come with mounting hardware but this one does include a total of 22 screws as well as some wire and butt connectors. Otherwise, you'd need to make sure the vent.We do have vents from Fan-Tastic Vent that come with thermostats. Although this isn't the same as an AC unit it does come in handy when you are trying to keep cool. The tinted top is not too dark and does allow quite a bit of light in. The lid does block some sunlight but its main purpose is UV protection while still allowing in light. This fan has 13 speeds and has the ability to use the thermostat to conserve energy and automatically adjust for your needs. It also has a rain senor to close the dome when the sensor gets wet and resume when the sensor is dry. I've attached a video to assist. The kit is completely compatible with this model vent and it will upgrade it to include the automatic lift and rain sensor.Your model 6500 is an older version which is no longer in production. While there are no direct replacements for your wall mount control, this upgrade kit allows you to use the remote control which you can ultimately mount to your wall with the included bracket. This upgrade kit is easily the cost of a new. Since yours is not working it is probably going to be easier and less of a project to replace the entire assembly. Roof vents like this are all standardized in size so it will be easy enough to choose a new one and mount it in the existing trailer roof opening which is typically. If you are concerned about roof thickness, the Fan-Tastic vent's roof garnish - such as the one in the photo that I've attached - can be trimmed to meet your specifications. The only thing left for you to do is choose which vent you prefer. I understand if you would like to keep looking elsewhere however, if one cannot be found then your only option is to replace the entire vent unfortunately. If you choose to take this route I recommend taking a look at one of the following. Both of these vent assemblies are. Your fan has the bow-tie style assembly so the replacement motor will fit, despite the minor differences in dimensions. Before replacing it though I recommend just making sure the power wire to the fan is still in good shape and securely connected. It's possible that the slower speed and sporadic operation is just due to a lack of power actually getting to the fan assembly. If all of this looks good though the motor is likely the issue. If you have the bow-tie style bracket on your current model, then it will be a direct replacement that can be done fairly quickly. With any. view full answer. How to Determine Size of Replacement Vent for Trailer We do have replacement vents that will likely fit your trailer but don't have any way of knowing the size of the opening of your trailer and there is nothing specific. Since that is the standard today, if it isn't that size you may need to enlarge the hole if it is smaller. This will allow you to use a number of different vents, like the following:Our Lowest Price Pledge ensures you will never overpay for the parts you need. Real product know-how. There are no instructions on how to use it. They did not tell me if they programed it. There is a switch on my wall that does nothing so i assumed it is for the fan. I dont know how i got the lid open and it ran for 3 seconds. I have changed the batteries and i dont know how to operate this. I have had manual ones before but never a remote. The accompanying diagram is from the manual and has all the functions of the remote control; I will also send you a link of the entire manual to check out. It is designed for maximum air exchange, minimum sound levels and power consumption. Fresh, clean, natural air is pulled in. Hot, stale, stuffy air is pushed out. Cooking smoke and unpleasant aromas are whisked away in seconds. The sealed motor operates at variable or 3-speeds depending on the model for selected performance levels. Installs in minutes and fits the standard existing opening provided by most recreational vehicle manufacturers. Model 4000R moves the same volume of air as fans with more options. It's simple yet effective. Set the thermostat to your desired comfort level and let the fan do the work. Model 5000RBT is designed to maintain a consistent temperature setting. It's perfect for use at bedtime or whenever you leave pets behind. A built-in thermostat maintains your desired comfort level. When the rain sensor becomes wet the dome automatically closes and reopens once sensor dries. The built-in manual knob allows for closing the dome in a emergency. Automation at its finest. Our radio frequency handheld remote has you activating the fan and raising the dome by pressing the mode pad. With the automatic speed mode, you select your comfort setting and the blades will automatically turn on, off, increase or decrease speed to maintain your temperature choice. The manual speed mode allows you to select off or one of 14 fan blade speeds. Our custom wall cradle is made for your convenience. Select an easily accessible location, install the lightweight cradle and operate your fan from cradled remote or remove and operate the fan from anywhere inside or outside your coach.First, you will need to remove the inside vent garnish. This is normally fastened to the ceiling with 4 screws. Remove the screws and remove the garnish. Next, you will need to disconnect any wiring to the existing vent if it has a fan in it already. Now you will have to get up on the roof and scrape the caulk away from the screws that are around the perimeter of the vent flange. Once the screws are removed, carefully insert a putty knife in between the vent flange and the roof material and gently pry up on the vent. While prying the vent, be careful not to pull to hard on the vent as you risk tearing the roof material. Once the vent is removed clean the existing caulk and putty or butyl tape material from around the perimeter of the 14 x 14 opening in the roof. Once the area is cleaned you are ready to install your Fantastic vent. You will need to apply new putty or butyl tape around the flange of the vent then insert the vent into the center of the opening in the roof. Next, fasten it to the roof by installing screws into the existing holes in the Fantastic Vent. Once the vent has been fastened to the roof, caulk all screw heads and around the perimeter of the vent with rubber roof caulk (for rubber roofs) or latex caulk for others. Now its time to finish the interior. If the previous vent was wired, simply use the existing 2 wires and connect them to the new Fantastic vent. If not, you will have to find a 12 volt DC source. In most cases, there is usually a ceiling light nearby that you can tap into making sure that the light is not operated by a wall switch. Remember to not reverse the polarity. You can connect these to the corresponding wires on your new vent. Once that is connected it is time to install the garnish by raising to the ceiling and fastening it with the 4 screws previously removed from the old vent. That's it your done and can sit back and enjoy the fantastic air circulation your new vent provides! Great price from Amazon Warehouse deals. An identical model I had purchased decades earlier and installed in an enclosed utility trailer was still working wonderfully without the loud whining noise of the new unit. The return window was still open, but the thoughts of removing and returning it were quite depressing. This was a matter of 4 screws and dealing with 2 wires; much easier that total removal. Noise is gone, and it was refreshing to deal with a company that was quick to help me with my problem. I have a second vent that I want to replace, and Dometic's handling of my situation has made me decide to purchase another 1250 vent- But I will bench test it first. These are still made in the USA. Page 2; February 2020, ordered a second 1250 vent for the other location and this time tested it prior to doing anything else. This purchase was extremely quiet, and it was installed without any surprises. I noticed the motor in it was marked Dometic; as was the replacement motor they had sent me for the 1st power vent I had installed. The noise motor that came out was marked Atwood. Whether anything can be concluded from this, who knows. At least in this case two Dometic motors were fine while the Atwood made a whine similar to first gear in an old manual transmission. The fuse is not split which means it didn't receive a power surge so the motor just gave up. Hooray for cheap products. Cheers to our ongoing future where modern products we buy will never last long enough. PROS: Moves a lot of air and definitely cools things off in the slide in camper. It's nice to have a duel function fan that can either intake or exhaust air. CONS: It whines. Originally when I bought this I couldn't get the first one to work.Regardless, i had another one shipped to me. Therefore, after realizing my initial mistake, I'm now able to get both fans working, but they both have whining noises while they run. For someone like me who has tinnitus, it's an aggrevating noise to listen to. FYI: Other reviewers have mentioned this fan is quiet, but while I'm on the phone, it's loud enough that I have to turn it off to hear my phone conversation. It would be nice if they let you know the thickness of the roofs it will install in. I don't know why it is so hard for them to list that on the product information. It does not close smooth. It is a series of jumps. Just waiting for it to jam. Being that this is the most expensive RV fan, it is not worth the money. Wish I had bought the other name brand. To difficult now to return. I have 4 fantastic fans in my rv. This one is the only one that makes this noise. The mechanic told me it sounds like bearing or motor issue. Since Dometic recently bought fantastic fan company it looks cheaper than my other 3. Very dissapointed. Well not be buying any more fantastic fans.Basically, the manufacturer and supplier put the blame on Amazon. Amazon was just the shipper. They didn’t create the problem on the factory floor or in Dometic’s cubicles. Wiring had been damaged either in shipping or at the factory. Unit did not work when 12 VDC was connected. One of the wires had the sheathing cut into near the middle of the wire. I had hoped I would be able to purchase an American made unit. Now I will have to look elsewhere. I returned the unit immediately to Amazon. Received a new one after reordering. This one works fine, but it is quite loud. Don’t expect to sleep with this thing on.We installed it in the bedroom of our new-to-is trailer. The collar was to short for our installation so had to buy a new one and then trim it down a bit. Once we did that it finally installed correctly. Nothing told us this might happen. We used it the first time this weekend and had two issues 1) it’s LOUD. Our old fan in the old trailer was so much quieter. On high it sounds like it’s going to take off. I will buy a different brand for this reason only. 2) the tinted cover doesn’t help with sun at all - it looks practically clear when it’s sunny out. If the install didn’t require sealing to the roof of the trailer I’d pull this out right now. We have one other fan we’re looking to replace and I plan to try the other brand. This may come out at some point if that one is better. Sad.I bought this fan because a friend recomended it. I had it installed by my local RV dealer. No more condisation build up on the inside of our windows. You can really feel the air move around in the trailer. Very happy with this purchase.I friend has this fan. His is good, generates a nice airflow through the trailer, so I bought one. It was easy to install, but that's it. The performance of this fan is beyond abysmal. All it does is generate noise. All three speeds work, and in both directions. BUT THERE IS NO AIR FLOW?! And yes, the vent is fully open. For nearly 300 bucks for a fan like this, I should have a baby tornado passing through my trailer. Really mad about this. These are exceptionally useful when dry camping. Unless it's really hot, we don't use our air conditioner. They also help to keep the air moving better for times when cooking situations may set off the smoke alarm. We have a relatively basic one but it does have the feature to move the air in or out of the RV. We love this. This one can blow or exhaust, perfect for all seasons.Il ne remplace pas la climatisation mais il evacue l'air chaud efficacement et tire beaucoup d'air frais de l'exterieur. La fonction inversee est tres appreciee. Un peu bruyant. Facile d'installation. It's one of the most used appliances in any rig. Fresh, clean, outside air can be yours without generators, air conditioners or engines operating. Choose fan blade direction (OUT for exhaust or IN for air intake). CSA certified; UL listed.
