The R6 has it with the mechanical shutter until ISO 1600 instead of 800, but not at all with the electronic shutter (unlike the R5 which has it in both modes). Don't like it and it sounds quite weird to me. Why does Canon do this. Why at low ISO - wouldn't it be more a high ISO thing. And why differently for the 2 cameras. Why different handling for regards electronic vs.Like 0 1 day ago permalink PPierre Well, it's one of the best mirrorless cameras out there, and IMO the best to buy if you want to use Canon's fantastic RF lenses. So for sure, it's a great camera. Aside from a bit better battery life, there's not much I think I could ask. This is definitely the camera Canon needed to release for their system. Glad they didn't miss that step. The autofocus and colors are so bad compared to the R5. Then you have to worry about overheating and such. I just don't get it. I'm not much of a photo person but maybe there's something there I am missing. It's an impressive camera and I've sampled 8 of my favorite RF and EF lenses on it. There's no lack of features, it has a very effective IBIS system (offering new life to old lenses) and the image quality and rendered colors are beautiful. I'm retiring my DSLRs as a result.
