The went on eBay to make place for the 7D and the 1000D when travelling light. The 7D has on low iso a terrible noisy image. All the 3 other cameras mentioned beat the 7D. But the incredible burst rate and the better high ISO are worth it. Surprisingly the 1000D delivers the sharpest image. The 40D with the same lens is much softer. I’m happy now with the 7D for wildlife and 1000D for landscape.Even a Fuji X100 and a Sony A6300 as well couldn’t compete with the 1000D in terms of color and overall image quality.
