0 out of 5 stars I have an atomic EnviratStation Weather Station DWS 170 model, but I'm sure this will work for other atomic weather stations. This is how I reset it: Move the outdoor remote sensor close to the home receiver unit. Remove batteries in remote sensor. I set channel 3 switch on the back of my one remote sensor, althought you can use any three channel and as many as three different sensors. When you see flashes - - - - on the home receiver (where outdoor temperature reading should be), install batteries in the remote sensor and then on the home receiver unit. The home receiver unit will sync(usually between 2-10 minutes) with the remote sensor and now you should have an outdoor temperature reading. Manually set time zone, clock, calendar, alarm, etc. You always have accurate time because the unit automatically resync to satelite every night at 1 am.The scale does appear to go a bit lower but the accuracy is very questionable. Several nights this winter (in central vermont) have caused the device to go off scale which then appears to set the minimum temperature to LL-L. The humidity sensor also seems to have a lower limit of 20 and it is unclear what the accuracy is near that limit. The external sensor does not have a button to turn of the display and conserve batteries nor does it have humidity sensor, which would be useful. The clock seems to work well.
