enermax eg651p-ve manualWhy don't they include instruction manual s.Thanks you can get your manual, drivers and stuff here too. Thanks Neil Follow this link for the manual:. I do not have any back screw terminals description. Can You help me with that? I. But I don't suggest you do this unless you know whatr your doing. You can always go into the BIOS. Serial number: C12733644 Hope this helps Answer questions, earn points and help others. Please email us if you're running the latest version of your browser and you still see this message. The actual Open Box product may differ in packaging and included accessories, but has been tested to ensure basic functionality. Installed it and works like a charm. I also have an older (at least 7 yrs old) 350w enermax, and it's still running strong, and the real why i'm swapping it out, is because I got a new video card from newegg that requires a higher wattage PS.Extra long cables for use in full cases. No problems at all.Very high quality product. 3-Year warranty.Or maybe it is just my computer case, but when flush against the back, the case pushes switch to off position.Easy mod, and PSU works great. This fine piece of engineering has proven itself time and time again. Do not buy into other manufacturer's 700, 800W power ratings. Those are peak power ratings and sometimes do not take into account different loads and high amperage that's REALLY needed to drive todays high powered video cards and CPUs.Keep in mind that this has been around since 2001 and it is still a powerhouse!I was 2amps shy with my other enermax, but it still did the job pretty well. I loved my old enermax, so I decided to go with another one for my upgrade. It's running great and I can't even hear it. It's super quite and doing a great job. Enermax is king.I need the 20. That's why I'm upgrading, but my other PSU is still fairly new. I feel like I wasted my money on that one, even though it's a great PSU.Being that heavy generally means it's a high quality PSU.http://108shiva.com/userfiles/digitech-rp55-modelling-guitar-processor-manual.xml

I plugged that into a motherboard fan header and noticed nothing also, as i adjusted Smart Guardian. Anyone know what thats for? I plugged that into a motherboard fan header and noticed nothing also, as i adjusted Smart Guardian. Anyone know what thats for? But I have the same PSU, the connecter is used for monitoring the fan only. The speed is control by a thermal diode inside the PSU.The FM is just a fan monitor and doesnt have to be hooked up. The fan still works whether its hooked up or not. The FC fan control models HAVE to have that 3 pin hooked to motherboard, as it powers the 80mm exhaust fan. Mine only has a FM, so it didnt matter either way. Mine started making high pitched noises lately so im gonna RMA it. I want to take the PSU and my system to work in mainland China. I really want to double-check that Enermax PSU Model: EG651P-VE (FMA) SUPPORTS FULLY the Chinese voltage and frequency. Please also kindly confirm the below are absolutely correct. 1. Before using the PSU in mainland China, slide the AC voltage switch to 230V. Does the 230V switch cover the voltage range 180V-265V including the Chinese 220V? 2. The PSU automatically adjusts to the Chinese 50Hz without my doing anything. 3. IMPORTANT: PSU powers every component inside a computer. I see online retailers advertise differently. 5. Anything else other than different voltage and frequency I have overlooked. Thanks for your time and help!!! Thanks But still want to follow upon point 3 and get worries off my chest. No any other component within my system, or in case of a general PC, either generates or receives any type of electricity.http://faraznovin.com/images/commander-tri-jet-fogger-manual.pdfI can't even begin to imagine what it's like getting something as complex (and potentially subversive) as a PC through their customs. I just have this mental image of them wanting to take an image of your drive (yes, I know this is fictitious) to make sure you're not there to make trouble. Call me crazy! I just have this mental image of them wanting to take an image of your drive (yes, I know this is fictitious) to make sure you're not there to make trouble. Call me crazy! Was on a company trip. US Enermax support confirmed that it is OK to use Enermax EG651P-VE (FMA) in China. Anyway as my company finally shipped to my China office, the system with the PSU (Enermax EG651P-VE (FMA). I want to have last confirmation prior to the setup. Two things: 1. Input voltage jumper 1-a: Is the turning the red voltage switch ALL I NEED TO DO to make the PSU compliant to the Chinese 220v AC input. As far I've read the PSU's manual, I couldn't not find any mentioning of input voltage jumper. Or all power cords are the same eletrically. Guess what I want to know is whether I can just use in China the original Power Cord supplied with the PSU - Enermax EG651P-VE (FMA). BTW by electric differences I do NOT mean physical differences such as plug shapes. US power cord's plug shape isn't a problem as I will use a power strip with universal sockets. Working overseas in pain in the butt.Again thanks for your great help!!! Appreciate it!!! As far I've read the PSU's manual, I couldn't not find any mentioning of input voltage jumper. The manual suggests only turning the red voltage switch. All a PSU does (very simplified) is perform DC voltage conversion by taking AC waveforms and forcing them to above zero-crossing using full-wave recification then using caps to hold the voltage. The 50 hz will only increase the ripple voltage slightly (since the caps will take slightly longer on the recharge) but not enough to be of concern. Guess what I want to know is whether I can just use in China the original Power Cord supplied with the PSU - Enermax EG651P-VE (FMA)? Working overseas in pain in the butt.Again thanks for your great help!!!Guess what I want to know is whether I can just use in China the original Power Cord supplied with the PSU - Enermax EG651P-VE (FMA)? Since you are indicating that the Enermax PSU original power cord is eletrically more robust, I will use that. Your reply addressed other my concerns fully. You dried up my questions. Thank you all replied. Now I feel ready to go ahead Enjoy your relocation! Enjoy your relocation!I will keep that in my mind while working overseas. BTW did you get my 2nd PM. The actual Open Box product may differ in packaging and included accessories, but has been tested to ensure basic functionality. Other than that no problems. My voltages are accurate to within.2 of a volt, even after hours of operation the air from the fan barely gets warm, and the thing is built like a tank.Nice metallic finish. Most stable voltages I have ever seen. Rock solid. Has a cite little fan speed adjustment on the back, which is hard to come by in a PSU. Frickin' spendy though. It also comes with SATA power adapters.good call.It delivers steady voltage on each of the 3.3v, 5v, and 12v rails. It's a dark metallic blue color and runs quiet - even at max fan speed. I've owned several Enermax power supplies before, and they have never given me any problems. I know the Antec's are good too, but I have a friend who had one blow up on him.Been running for almost 2 years now, no power problems ever. Quiet and stout.Click here for more details. And no spoilers! playing online as )efault and no Im not on 56k Im just from Australia I've only really been looking forward to the game since around HL2's first delay, though.Lots of sound issues. It's tomorrow yeah! And I don't have a dvd drive yet. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH nevermind, working tomorrow. I guess I'll just buy one on my way home lolPlease read and follow the instructions provided to complete this process. Half-Life2 Sucks! Why do you guys keep pointlessly arguing with this guy. He's only trying to get you all pissd off. If you just ignore this post, like I obviously am NOT right now, this ridiculous post will go away. Why should the delete this topic anyway. It says nothing negative about far cry, only opsite. Moron. If you don't mind I'm going to sit off to the side with a barrel of buttery popcorn and enjoy the show. I like both Far Cry and Half Life 2, I don't just base eveything on something that isn't complete. I need to see official hard data to make my descision. It really doesn't matter I preordered Far Cry and am getting Half Life 2 for free from my ATI card, I'm set now just need to wait and see.The only way you can tell if you will ever like a game is to wait until release and try it for yourself, Don't judge a game on beta release cus if i did i would not be buying Stalker as the beta as it was a pile of crap but I DO NOT JUDGE A GAME ON BETA RELEASE.STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, Full Spectrum Warrior, Far Cry, UT2004, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, it's all good for me.Also, it IS POSSIBLE TO LIKE MORE THAN ONE GAME There isnt really such thing as a game of the year, different people like different genres. Finally, why do you feel the need to insult anyone who comes into this thread and disagrees with your veiws (which is just about everybody that has replied.). You save your money for Far Cry and ignore half life 2 if you want, YOU will be the one missing out The reason that HL2 is going to be better than Far Cry is because in six years we will still be playing HL2 or its mods while people will vaguely remember Far Cry or not at all. Far Cry will be forgotten by this time next year I'm sorry to say.Take a look at this forum, the demo is out and the game will be released shortly - yet these forums arn't very active at all.Enthusiasm for this game isn't very high. But hey - we'll all have to wait and see My eyesockets are going to start bleeding from all the bad grammar in this thread. The reason that HL2 is going to be better than Far Cry is because in six years we will still be playing HL2 or its mods while people will vaguely remember Far Cry or not at all. Far Cry will be forgotten by this time next year I'm sorry to say. So, you're saying that there aren't going to be mods for Far Cry. Because, I must be crazy, but I think I am already playing some Far Cry mods and know a ton of people developing them right now.But one thing i'm i'm sure about, I know more about games than you do! Nerd. You say you know more about something compared to someone you've never met? - that's just ridiculous. The reason ppl criticise you is because you write such infantile crap - seriously m8, sort it out Please read and follow the instructions provided to complete this process. To open downloaded files you need acrobat reader or similar pdf reader program. In addition, some files are archived. I clearly understand what you are looking for, I do not believe you are following me. This information you have provided is not pertinent to identifying what the model and manufacturer of your motherboard truly is. With this information, a technical manual can be located for you to proceed with the task. If you know the answer to this question, you can 'walk down' to the tech manuals online for that model. Thanks again for your reply. I did find on this web site a plan of a mother board which is almost the same than the one I have. However, this plan is not detailled enough. Indeed, what I need is to understand how the different cables that link the front of the computer (start button, reset button, etc) to the mother board get connected to the different contacts of the J28 connector. Do you have any idea where I can find a detailled plan of this J28 connector or where I can find a chart that explains the relation between the codes on the cables and the codes of the differents contacts of the J28 connectors. Thanks Xavier. I recently acquired an MS-6541 Pentium 4 motherboard for free, for use wherever I wanted. Though I've never actually built a computer, my theoretical knowledge was at last put to use in reality and I built a 'working' machine from it. If one considers a 1.8 GHz Celeron 'working,' then. This board is used in the Compaq Evo D310v and Evo D310 Microtower, runs on the i845G chipset and can scale up to 2.4 GHz for certain, and a certain Spanish-speaking forum board says 2.6 GHz. It is socket 478, and is therefore intercompatible with Pentium 4's, as well. Now, here is my problem. I can't find a good, solid manual dedicated to the MS-6541 Ver. 1.0 motherboard. I need a good, solid, manual for it so that I can connect the power jumpers to it correctly, and turn the computer on the way it's supposed to be turned on. With the button. Currently, if I shut down via XP, I have to unplug the 'puter, reset the CMOS jumper, and plug it back in, where it instantly activates. Needless to say, I'd like a button. I'd really rather have standardization on the part of power jumpers, but then that would make sense, wouldn't it. Can anyone help? Tom - if the MS-6541 mobo was design for Compaq, then you need to find a Compaq Field Service Manual. The service manuals are only given out to certified technicians. You can run a search on the Internet and hopefully someone has it in PDF form. I was lucky to find couple of service manuals. I looked on MSI mobo archive, they do not list the board on their site. Ms 6541 Ver 2.1 Manual Pdf Look for 'Service Reference Guide' part number 259668-001. Not sure if it is what you are looking for but worth looking into. I got the part number from the 'Illustrated Parts Map'. The map shows general mobo layout and part numbers. There are 0 registered and 1496 anonymous users currently online.I need to kind out exactly if the -5V pin supply is required or not, and in which models it is required, and for which models it is not required. I am requesting again, that you please answer this question in full detail, and not just give an objective answer.Click here to become a Hardware Analysis registered user. Go to and buy your power supply from them. They are rate among the best computer power supply manufactures. The company is in the US. Send the check with your letter ordering the power supply by certified mail, insured. Request that you power supply be shipped to you via certified, insured mail. MSI did offer to upgrade my mobo since it is an earlier production board but not sure what if they will flash the bios, make physical changes to my board, or swap the motherboard. On top of all of this, there is the K8N SLI Diamond, it is for an Intel processor. But if I get a new board with a new version, I will have to check the specs out. Hopefully, I can get an answer from this angle. As for the PSU with NO -5v, I am at a lost. I do not know what countries they are from. If I hear from Tech Support whether it is email or phone, I ll keep you updated. UPDATE: I have a non-cert PSU on my rig. They replied that not everyone goes for SLI.and if even someone does add another card, they can use a molex converter cable, which will provide a second power.and that they have confirmed this method with nVidia. The Tagan PSU is a good choice but not too sure on the 12v (subjectivily weak), but Tagan is a good brand.check other Tagan PSU. Your third choice, enermax, does NOT have a -5v. This is the PSU that I have. Not sure if you can find it cheaper else where. I paid 150.00 us dollars for the darn thing; the price went down considerably. MSI will probably call you sometime next month just like cable company The molex connector is the adapter that plugs into the video card on one end, the other end plugs into two power connectors. Now what that implies for the SLI version of the mobo, I don't know. I did note that the K8N Diamond does require -5v (according to the MSI web site). I'm currently powering my system with a Aspire 520w PSU, which DOES have a -5v rail. It does look sharp and is cheap. Craig. The PC user who experiences such problems may replace the memory, upgrade the BIOS, or reinstall device drivers, but never see a positive result. Major problems frequently cause a complete failure of the system unit. To avoid such problems, it is necessary to strictly observe the following rule: Purchase only high-quality power supply units. Pay attention to the power declared by the manufacturer of the unit. Most power supply units with a declared power of 300 W can't handle this load. The exceptions are world-class brands, such as Fong Kai, Enermax, PowerMaster, PowerMan, HEC, and Delta Electronics products. Even these products may differ significantly from model to model; various models of power supply units from the same manufacturer can have different parameters and designs. It is possible to obtain a lot of information by opening the case of the power supply unit. Under the hood, there is an internal device with a range of units and components. The input filter, which suppresses electric noise, is one of the most important parts of the power supply unit. Electric interference may be incoming and outgoing (i.e., from the power supply unit to the mains). A full-featured power supply unit usually has two capacitors and is capable of protecting the computer from pulse noise and short-time blackouts. Nevertheless, the power supply unit and computer powered by it are the sources of a wide range of noise. A correctly designed filter should prevent this noise from propagating in the system and disturbing the operation of other electronic appliances, such as TV sets or other computers. However, manufacturers of supply units often economize on throttles, and sometimes even on capacitors. Two fragments of power supply units are in Fig. 4.34. The left photo shows a high-quality filter; the right photo shows a poor-quality board, with jumpers instead of throttles. Figure 4.34: Fragment of a power supply unit with ( left ) and without ( right ) a filter Besides the filter, many so-called no-name manufacturers economize on the capacitors and heatsinks. They also may install diodes and transistors that lack the power required for correct and smooth operation. The usage of low-powered elements intended for low currents and voltages is the most common cause of failures for power supply units. Transistors cannot withstand the load and fail. Unfortunately, it is difficult to check the quality of the electronic components in power supply units. Therefore, it is only possible to draw conclusions from indirect indications. The degree of voltage deviation from nominal values is the main parameter for the quality of a power supply unit. These deviations are always determined at the nominal workload. Intel requirements for power supply units are outlined in the ATX specification. However, even these are not always met by a power supply unit. Good power supply units must have large and efficient heatsinks and fans whose rotation speed can be controlled. As a rule, the more electronic components in the power supply unit, the better the quality — and the higher the price. The following sections provide some examples of power supply units. Examples of Power Supply Units Enermax EG365AX-VE Enermax Technology is one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-quality power supply units, such as the EG365AX-VE (Fig. 4.35). Figure 4.35: Enermax EG365AX-VE power supply unit This power supply unit is equipped with two fans. The rotation speed of the first fan can be adjusted manually using the regulator (variable resistor) located on the rear panel. The rotation speed can be changed from 1,500 rpm to 3,500 rpm. The second fan is controlled automatically by the thermal sensor built into the power supply unit.
