Other info: This is a special 0V charger. Which means that it basically not uses any Voltage when plugged in without batteries. Nonetheless I added them for a good overview. You can mix AA and AAA. Reviewed by HKJ Mix AA and AAA is possible. Reviewed by HKJ. It will not stop when the batteries are full. I do not recommend this charger. Reviewed by HKJ. There is also another BQ-C51 which I think is the same, just looks a little different. Other info: This is not an eneloop charger, this is from before Panasonic branded eneloops. His eyes will change colors during charging. This is not an eneloop, but a Panasonic Evolta branded. BQ-CC20 comes after 11, 17 and 18, (which were sold with eneloop batteries). So although this one is from 2011 it was already called the BQ-CC20. Just like many other Panasonic chargers it chargers double the speed when used with only 1-2 batteries. There are only 2 AAA slots, and 4 AA slots. Also separately for sale. Can be used with Pro, Std and Lite Not for sale without any batteries. The Japanese manual only shows charging time for Lite batteries. So not recommended for other batteries than eneloop lite! BQ-CC25 seems to be the same, but only available in Japan. BC-CC15 is available worldwide. The set is: k-kj43mcc84. Green LED during charge, LED turned off when not charging. Auto cut off at 13 hours. It will charge continuously for 13 hours. It does not have an indicator if a battery is full. Only charges in pairs of AA or AAA, do not mix 1 AA and 1 AAA. This model is only available for the overseas market, not in Japan. This charger is not recommended. There is also a BQ-CC51E which looks differently. I don't know if they are the same. It will charge rather slowly. It does not have an indicator if a battery is full. Automatically stops after 6 hours charging. Stops charging when full, but LED will stay on till 6 hours. It can also detect if a battery is in bad shape. Reviewed by HKJ and FilterJoe. It has some smaller 1 color leds.http://cqslan.com/upFile/image/20200921/digital-thermostat-owner-s-manual.xml And I dont think the 2 chargers are the same.Normal charging when 3-4 batteries are used.Reviewed by HKJ It also includes a Refresh mode. The USB-out is not a powerbank feature, unfortunately, but it can be used while the charger is plugged in. Charging the batteries and the USB-out function do not work at the same time. Available with Eneloop standard and Eneloop Pro batteries. And the pictures of these batteries look strange.Comes only as a set with white Eneloop batteries (Costco used to have dark blue wrappers). 6 AA batteries, 4 AAA batteries, 4 pieces of AA to C size adapters, and 4 pieces of AA to D adapters. Thanks to CPF member fmc1 for the picture, the manual, and the charger he sent. Update: Now also separately available! So that looks like it charges only 1 battery at a time. This is not a powerbank. During charging the charge indicator LED stays on, and turns off when it finishes. The product code, including batteries is: K-KJ80MCC Market: Japan Other info: The first charger Panasonic makes that includes a powerbank feature. There is no power cord included since it's charging off any USB charger. Besides these great features they also included a small LED light, that you can attach to the USB port for emergencies. This is an exciting new addition to their current lineup. The only con: available in Japan only! And while most of them were available in combination with eneloop batteries they are not always recommended. A fairly fast charger and international voltage range. Unfortunately mainly available in Japan second hand. Not in production anymore. Reviewed by many people. Slow charger, but good charger. See the charger info for a link to reviews. Shrenik 1.0 out of 5 stars It does not say anywhere that this item lacks original packaging. Disappointed ??It’s dumb because you can’t charge batteries and charge your phone at the same time. One or the other. You also can’t charge your phone with the batteries themselves which is what it makes it look like. Would be a smart idea being these batteries are rechargeable. Then it will charge a USB device as well as four batteries. This has nothing. The pilot light showing in the picture indicates only whether something is plugged into the usb port. So there's no way of knowing whether batteries are charging or are fully charged. If I want to know anything like that, I have to take the batteries out and put them into one of my other chargers. I don't really need another usb charging port, so I would say this charger has zero frills. When I found these on amazon and read the reviews I was so excited. My old Home Depot rechargeables last me a full work day. These eneloops need to be changed twice per shift. Very disappointed and I bought a few packs. Wish I would have returned them immediately. Very disappointing, not worth the hypeThe earlier versions only permit charging in battery pairs. This updated version lets you charge just one battery without waiting for a second one that needs a charge. The bonus USB charging port is nice too. Too bad that both battery charging and the charging port can’t be used simultaneously. Other than this small reservation, we are pleased with the charging capabilities and plan to have this fired up round the clock. I hope you found these brief comments helpful.I originally thought that you can charge your batteries through the USB port. When you plug a usb cable into your cellphone, there will be one green led that glows on the charger to indicate that it's charging your cellphone. It won't display LED lights for the batteries, and this is when I figured out that it's not designed to charge batteries through the USB port. The Amazon product page does not indicate that. Without the manufacturer sealed packaging there is no way to know if the item has been previously used or if it's a returned item being resold. I also noticed one of the contact pins was bent inward. Regarding the USB port: According to the manual, this function disables charging the batteries and allows you to use the charger as an AC adapter. So I tried to charge two different low powered rechargeable devices to be charged off the USB port (it's a 1 Amp port) while the charger was already charging 4 AA batteries. I ended up with two different results. The charger, expectedly, started charging the first device and it did cut off charging output to the AA batteries (LED’s OFF). Then I tried charging the other device. Instead of charging that device and disabling the charge output to the AA batteries, the charger just turned on that device instead of charging it (it actually tried to drain the device charge level!!!) and at the same time seemed to continue charging the AA batteries (LED’s ON). Expect inconsistent behavior from the USB charging port. The rechargeable AAA batteries do not sit parrallel with the back of the charger. I thought it was a flaw but it is like this to make it easier to take out the smaller batteries. In order to navigate out of this carousel please use your heading shortcut key to navigate to the next or previous heading. Complete charger manual can be downloaded from www.eneloopusa.com As Sanyo ships cells pre-charged to 75, for the test, AA Eneloop cells were fully charged using the USB Charger. The tests was carried out using West Mountain Radio CBA II. Here are the test results for 1C (2 Amp) Test. Upon completion of the above test, we recharged the Eneloop AA cells to determine the total charging time using the Sanyo USB Charger. Note that there were other peripheral devices connected to same USB bus. The total time for charging was about 4 Hours 55 Minutes which is very near to manufacturer estimated charging time of 280 Minutes (4 Hours 40 Minutes). A traditional NiMH rechargeable battery will lose its voltage constantly and quickly gets below this critical level. That's one of the reasons why you can take more pictures with eneloop than with a 2700 mAh battery. A very special feature is the individual charging, whereas each single cell gets charged on its own. The charging progress gets checked and ended for each single cell via Peak-Cut-Control. This charger is probably good for any recharageable battery, but is exclusively recommended for the erLoop and I have had no problems. RECOMMEND.I have had good experience with Panasonic batteries so I purchased the set of batteries and charger. I am impressed and happy. As claimed, the batteries needed no charge upon arrival. They were full, and they remained fully charged for the three months before I took them out of the package. I have tried them in two different types of appliances: a Fenix LD41 led 1,000 lumen flashlight and an oral toothbrush (thy eat up batteries!). Performance in both has been great. In the toothbrush, there was a much stronger brushing than with even fresh Eveready batteries. In the Fenix flashlight, I had a very good, very bright light that I could not distinguish from that of the batteries I had purchased when I bought the flashlight. The drain of such a bright light has not yet shown in the batteries. I am very, very happy with the performance of the batteries.Battery got charged one by one. It has 4 individual light which when light up means that the particular slot containing a battery is getting charged and when a particular battery gets charged, the light shuts off. It took 7 hrs to completely charge this above set of eneloop batteries (1900 mah and 800 mah respectively each). I was sleeping when it was charging. After charging was done none of the batteries were hot. Thats a good thing for my batteries in the long run.All the indicator lights work, and can charge batteries one at a time or up to four at the same time. Can charge partially discharged batteries at the same time as fully discharged ones.Really nice device. It does sometimes work for a minute and then stop.Where as in the case of basic and some other chargers it will need two batteries to charge and eventually that will affect the performance of batteries. Very useful because of independent charge circuits.I guess its too early to provide any feedback since its just three times i have completely charged batteries. Results so far are beyond perfect. Very happy with the Product. There are better chargers available at a lower price though. There are some that give you control over selecting the amperage to each battery while charging. When used with a quality charger, LSD batteries offer the best combination of long-term cost-effectiveness, quality, durability, and environmental sustainability. Once you’ve tried LSD batteries with a good charger and realize how good they are, you’ll end up using them for the vast majority of devices that require AA or AAA batteries. If you prefer to understand what you’re buying, read on. It will be maintained and updated to stay current through early 2019. The technology and products associated with AA batteries and charges change slowly, so this will be easy. Jim has been supplied with a few chargers to test by DC Workshop. When Jim’s testing reveals new information, appropriate changes will be made to this guide. I recommend specific products for different budgets and needs. I also provide a Just Tell Me What to Buy section for those who just want to cut to the chase. If so, how often have you had to replace it. If you treat it well, the answer is never. Despite this sizable market, Sanyo’s Eneloop breakthrough that occurred in 2005 continues to receive scant attention. Something just seemed wrong about buying dozens of Alkaline batteries per year to power my toddler’s toys. Something seemed even more wrong when my rechargeable (high discharge) NiMH batteries could not power toys after 3 or 4 months despite not being used. Thankfully, I discovered Eneloop batteries when my son was 5 years old. I soon switched our family to using exclusively LSD batteries such as Eneloop, along with a good battery charger. Though much has stayed the same since that article was written, numerous battery chargers have come and gone, and Eneloop has spawned many competitors for LSD batteries. Are these LSD competitors as good as Eneloop? And that’s the key: Japan. That factory and the Eneloop brand were both owned by Sanyo through 2009 but since then, Panasonic has owned the Eneloop brand name, while Fujitsu has owned the factory and all the intellectual property associated with the manufacture of LSD batteries, as part of its FDK subsidiary. In other words: All you need to know as a consumer when purchasing LSD batteries is to look for the following words: However, given that these batteries last for decades, I recommend purchasing only the highest quality Japan-sourced LSD batteries from reputable U.S. retailers such as Amazon, NewEgg, and Costco. There are surely other reliable retailers but these are three that I’m confident will sell batteries that are genuinely from Japan, if that is what is claimed on the packaging (note: by Amazon I mean direct from Amazon. Buying from a third-party merchant is not going to guarantee that you actually receive LSD batteries made in Japan). So far, Eneloops in North America, Europe, and Japan also come from that same Takasaki factory. Many other brands source LSD batteries from Japan, but some brands also source LSD batteries from China. If you do buy one of these other brands, be sure to inspect the packaging and the batteries themselves to be sure they are sourced from Japan. Generally, I suggest products to match a given set of criteria, not recommend a one-size-fits-all category winner. But in this section I do try to simplify as much as possible. I suggest the following inexpensive package, which includes 8 AA and 2 AAA Eneloop batteries, as well as a compact yet capable charger: Given that Fujitsu owns the factory in Japan that makes the best LSD factory in the world, you can always count on them for high quality AA batteries: For example, there are batteries on the market with higher capacity at the expense of longevity.
