This will change the temporary citations in the text to the style you have chosen and create the bibliography at the end of your document. In some references the author might be described as 'Benjamin', whereas in others as 'Ben'. EndNote regards Benjamin and Ben as two different authors and in the text qualifies them accordingly. How do I get EndNote to treat Benjamin and Ben as the same person? See our guide to for an introduction to editing styles. Select Reference Type from the pick-list. This will re-order the bibliography into alphabetic order of the different reference types in your library. You will then simply need to add relevant headings to each section in the bibliography. If they are different you could add a customised field or you could use the field 'type of work' and add it as a first sort criterion. Once formatted, simply add the heading as appropriate in the bibliography. It will then create one bibliography at the end of the document. The merged bibliography will be at the end of the final document. This will align the record numbers with library on your home computer. No EndNote toolbar in Word A common problem, although the cause has varied over the years. If you are working on your own computer, there are two things to try: the first is to look at the Disabled Item page which is the most common cause of problems in Word 2007 or Word 2010. If this does not help, the EndNote support pages also provide help for this problem. If you are using a student-workroom or library computer, then there are also two options - but you cannot use the suggestions on the EndNote support pages mentioned above. The first option is described on the Disabled Item page, the other (and more drastic) is to have your profile reset by one of the ICTS ServiceDesk staff or workroom supervisors.
