Also for some reason the batteries don't charge from the power supply that comes with it. I ordered a Panasonic which costs more, but is easier to use. Oh I put Panasonic eneloop AAA's in too which were 600mAh, as the included batteries were only 300mAh so I doubled the capacity - isint that nice though. Just regular rechargeable AAA?!They sound good and clear, have plenty of options and it doesn't hurt that they take triple a batterys. Only odd thing, not really a negative just odd is the power supply, that also hooks in to the phone with a rj11 jack, not seen that before, but it doesn't hurt the overall at all. All said and done these are nice and would refer to anyone!!The volume does not get very loud at all and I've been told by the person on the other end of the line that they cannot hear me. I drowned it in the sink and gave it a good burial in the dumpster.The reception though even from two yards from the cradle was terrible. It held decent charge for about two weeks then wouldn't hold charge past a few minutes removed from the cradle.The bottoms’ labels are confusing. If this breaks, good luck finding a replacement. Its proprietary all the way. Overall if you are looking to talk on the phone again and you need a phone to get you going this is an okay phone for the price, otherwise if you are not on a very limited budget like I was its best to go for another phone thats higher in price and quality. The only reason why I bought it is because I needed a phone to connect into my Surewest Digital Voice service.
