When this reviewer returned from an evening event, the Oxygen3 was silent and the house still had the discerning smell of the fish supper that the wife had cooked. We also found that we could boil a chicken carcass for several hours without the air cleaner thinking there was anything amiss. Of course from a filtration of allergens it is impossible to test without a laboratory, so we can only trust the certification and testing carried out by Electrolux themselves. I bought a big round air cleaner years ago by another company, and it's round shape made it too big to put anywhere usefull, so it ended up cleaning up my basement, using a timer, I am able to keep the basement clean. As far as this air cleaner, it's better than nothing, it's better than buying the next model up at twice the price, it buzzes lowely, so bedroom placement is questionable, but it's cleaning the air.
